Great WiFi adapter
Works great! I built my PC several years ago, but did not install a wifi adapter because my plan was to keep the PC hardwired directly to the router; but life happened and now my PC is not only in a different room, but a different floor altogether- hence my need for this adapter. It was an easy install of the driver, set up was equally simple. At the time of testing I was able to clock 80mbps from the mesh router on a different floor of the home. It's modularity also allows me to use it on a laptop should the need arise.

3 People couldn't get it to work
Bought this even though it was pricey because I had the older version from this company and it lasted 5 years before my cat bit through the cord. This one is awful. It randomly turns off and I have to unplug and replug it back in to MAYBE get it to work. It will randomly refuse to turn on even when its plugged directly into the motherboard of the computer. In the middle of games or buisness meetings, it turns off- won't even light up. (Windows can turn off external devices if they take up too much power but I have that setting turned off) Me, my brother, and my boyfriend (all of us are tech-savy and built our own computers) have all looked through settings and read the manual to determine if it was fixable but nothing fixes it. The entire device is unscratched and unharmed. It simply does not do anything, just a wire with some plastic hardware. I can't even recycle it.

Not right for me.
It's good for what it is, but overall the 1300 is just more reliable, even if this is generally better, it often has to unstable connections, across the house or next to it, I was already aware of this potentially being an issue with this and frankly I'm kind of sad it is because it's pretty expensive for a wifi adapter, especially when it's predecessor never bugs out, I imagine because it's pretty new it still has tweaks to be messed with but I'm relatively disappointed. Every adapter I've used usb wise had been under 15$ and never had issues, I couldn't say what is the issue as I made sure to properly install the most current drivers, have wifi 6, and being on windows 11, and it's connection genuinely is better, but again it tends to sometimes be super unstable for like 5 seconds at most every 7ish-20min, and that's pretty impactful during online gaming, I hope it gets fixed, as I'm some others have this similar issue.

Few Windows 10 users will do better than 400 Mbps
The TP-Link AXE5400 WiFi 6E USB Adapter for Desktop PC (Archer TXE70UH) supports both Windows 10 and Windows 11. Under Win 10 you can only use 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The latter offers a range of higher speeds and is a good choice *BUT* for its highest speeds requires the use of "DFS" technology. That effectively dumps all transmissions when an airport radar is detected, to avoid interfering with the radar. A long, slooowww switch to lower frequencies takes place which will effectively disable your internet for minutes at a time and will drive you crazy. So the best practical use under Windows 10, if you have a 5 GHz router, is in the router settings to enable that band but limit it to 80 MHz bandwidth. Avoid the 160 MHz bandwidth and any DFS functionality. Then you'll get about 400 Mbps in an average house. On Windows 10 you can try 160 MHz / DFS to see if you're one of the lucky ones with no radar glitches and a 100-mile drive to an airport, but expect to spend about the same amount of time on either of those undertakings. I can't test this on Windows 11 with a 6GHz wifi 6E router but there will be no DFS issues in that case and none of the above cautions apply. This adapter should do well but you should research that on your own.

Finally im back
Solid device brought my speeds over 10 fold. When I went to set it up I was having issues but the support rep at TP-Link Jerry was very nice and patient. Legit a ROCKSTAR. Ultimately the adapter just needed like 3 mins or so to connect to the network. Great product!

Not worth your money
Garbage did not deliver on increasing speed like promised constantly disconnects from wifi unprompted checked cord checked base nothing tried plugging direct into pc still didn’t fix how am I supposed to game when I randomly get disconnected from the wifi mid match not only that but completely stoped working every time I try to reconnect it prompts me to reinput the password of my wifi and then trys to connect fails then makes me put in the password again in a loop so I can’t even connect to my wifi now and for fifty bucks what a waste of money
