Pretty easy used it on a phone that I was sending in to Verizon on a trade in and didn’t realize I didn’t have to have the screen fixed but already bought the kit and it was actually a easy process but time consuming for me the first time. Come with everything you need. The video is on YouTube to show directions though. But I would buy it because my screen worked fine and this was my first time changing my phone screen.

Fixed our iPhone XR screen in about an hour. The YouTube video was OK but printed instructions would have been better. It was hard to get the broken screen off even with another tool I bought and a heat gun. The tiny screws and parts were difficult too. At one point I thought I had not installed the ear speaker plug properly but it wasn’t a plug after all. With my son’s help we scraped off the old adhesive and installed the new. It went together and works fine. He says the screen image is a bit inferior but it looks fine to me. A scary job at times but good in the end.

I was nervous about replacing my own screen, but this kit made it surprisingly doable. It comes with all the tools you need, plus clear instructions. The new screen looks bright and responsive—honestly feels like a brand-new phone. Great value for the price.

This screen is a decent replacement for my wife's iPhone XR screen that got broken. The kit comes with almost all you need to do the job. Additional needed and/or helpful items: - You will also need a hair dryer or heat gun to loosen up the adhesive that seals the seam between the phone body and the screen assembly. - I also recommend working on a surface that will not allow screws to easily bounce away (if they fall off a screwdriver). I used a smooth white linen dish towel laid down on my kitchen table as a work-space. - Another helpful item is a large flat refrigerator magnet. I have several that approximate the shape of the phone. As i disassembled the required parts of the phone, I placed each screw and cover plate on the magnet in roughly the same position and orientation as they were in the phone (the manufacturer's linked video shows using a numbered tape to keep the parts organized in the order they were removed). Pros: - The screen is decent with a reasonably close resolution to the original. It looks good and the images are clear. - All the hand tools necessary are included along with a couple I find unnecessary. - The screwdrivers are magnetized which helps immensely when working with the tiny screws in the phone. - The screen adhesive is well designed to allow clean application--if you are patient... Cons: - The touch sensitivity is not as good as the original, and has occasional glitches. (in all fairness, this may be partially due to the earlier damage sustained by the phone). - The video the manufacturer provides a link to is occasionally unclear and glosses over a few steps. - One nice thing some other manufacturers include in their kits that this one lacks is a flat magnet with an image of the phone's interior and color coded dots to indicate the screw locations. While not necessary, this can be very helpful, especially for someone inexperienced in replacing iPhone screens. Overall, this seems to be a very good product for the price. I would buy it again.

wow, i can't believe i paid $20 to replace my cracked screen! i was a little nervous after watching the video. I thought the hardest part was disassembling the original screen off of the phone. i didn't heat the edges as instructed in the video and that's probably why it was a little more difficult to pry open. But after using the triangle pieces (which is not the same tools as the video), it did come apart. After that, it was easy peasy as long as you have good eyes (or glasses) because the screws are teeny tiny. I did use double stick tape to lay the pieces and that is VERY recommended. Trying to find a lost screw might be impossible. Took me about a half hour from start to finish. Also, no glue or adhesive for the new screen was included, but i still had some adhesive left on the old phone so it wasn't a problem for me. Overall, a great product if you want to keep your phone and would be up for a diy challenge!

Cheap price and it works perfectly. No issues with fit, it just goes right on without having to modify anything.

TLDR: Cheap functional LCD screen, worse than original OLED screen. Bad stuff: bigger bezels than original, including a big chin at the bottom. Screen is thicker and heavier, LCD technology (not OLED). Screen raises over the edge of the iPhone 12, like a super thick screen protector. Gives a warning in settings and true tone won't work (who cares about that?). Blacks are Gray. Unsure of how much more battery it will consume. Good stuff: screen works for the most part and was enough to get my phone repaired for a trade in. Screen is whiter and brighter than original. Price is cheap. Tool kit included is sufficient to open iPhone 12. Kit is well put together. This screen can be used for repairing for temporary usage or to get it trade in ready. Not for long term daily usage.

Nice Finishing And Very Good Quality

I bought this item back in February just in case i broke my phone screen again and needed to fix it fast. Just as predicted, i broke my phone screen 2 days ago and i went to a shop near my area to get an expert to fix it. i saw him fixing it live, just when he put the screen in, and it started up, i was greeted with my white phone screen with yellowing at the sides! i accepted my fate and from there on the way back home, i turned off my phone - as in clicked the power button once. When i received a buzz, i took my phone out of the pocket, just for it to be completely black! everytime i want to use my phone i have to force restart the device for it to turn on again. The backlight works but the screen isnt displaying anything. I hope this review informs others who want to purchase this item.

Great Product, works like original. It took 1 hour to replace, in mid when I check screen working or not, the screen works but volume up and down button stop working but when I set screws back, buttons starts work again.

As a first timer, it took about 1 hour to replace the screen. The video and written instructions were helpful and easy to follow along. The tools that comes with it is honestly not the very best so if you lose control and break it that’s pretty much the end.... Happy with the final result though! Touch sensitivity is great too
