No lag with CarPlay
Have had for well over 6 months and I can say it’s held up and still runs like new! Setting it up was super easy, and I love how seamlessly it connects to my iPhone as soon as I start it CarPlay turns on. The interface is user-friendly, and I can access my favorite apps without any hassle. The sound quality is fantastic I use my cars usb no problem, and I really appreciate being able to use navigation and music without dealing with extra cords. Overall, it’s made my driving experience so much better and I would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap CarPlay install! It has so many more features like AirPlay but i mainly use for CarPlay.

Great upgrade for older cars
I replaced the stock stereo head unit on my older car a few years back to add wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. It still works fine but it’s time for an upgrade. The stereo sits way too low on the center console. It’s a safety hazard to have to look down at the screen. So much can happen on the road in a blink of an eye.After reading the specs of several different ones, I decided to buy this one and it’s much better than my existing one. The higher resolution screen is brighter. There is noticeably way less lag when touching the screen. It boots up faster than my old unit too. The dashcam is one of the stronger selling points for me. The recordings are clear and the user interface makes it simple to use. Of the two mounts provided, I prefer the one with the extending arm. The suction mount on it has some glue which is perfect since my car’s dashboard has a texture that makes it hard to make a seal.Wireless Android Auto works fine with my phone. I do wish there was more vertical space on the screen though but that’s not a fault of the unit. It feels like Android Auto wastes a lot of screen space. I took a few calls with it and the MIC seems to work well.The included USB C cable is long but I didn’t test out the FM audio output since I used the AUX output. It does not work with my own USB C -> USB C cable on a USB C car charger but it does work with a USB A -> USB C cable though.I did contact customer service asking about a few different things. Support is good and fast. The unit has a 2.5mm AV-In jack so I asked a technical question to see if the unit supported AHD or CVBS. They were quick to respond and gave me the info I needed.

Excellent product, easy installation and usability
The wireless CarPlay device performs exceptionally.It has a 4k dash cam with very clear video. It came with the storage card already installed making it plug and play, no extra items required.The CarPlay connection to my phone is very fast upon start and the CarPlay features were easy to use and quick to respond.The screen is bright but I found the screen did have some reflection in direct sunlight. It was not too distracting and adjusting the position helped.The device was easy to install in my car. This was an excellent product to use in my car that has an outdated entertainment system. I used Bluetooth for the sound which worked very well. This device is a great value.I did have a question/small issue and the seller was quick to respond and their customer service was knowledgeable and friendly. They answered my questions and was able to resolve my issue.*Update 6/1/2024*Rating changed from 4 stars to 2 stars.I worked with their customer service for weeks regarding an issue with the time used for the dash cam videos resetting to 12 hours and 16 minutes from actual time and +46 days into the future every time the device connects to CarPlay. They sent two replacement devices all with the same issue. I continued to test and send results. Then they just stopped responding. Their last email was a question, I responded, got no response, I sent follow-up emails, no response. I continue to have the time issue. I suspect they may have been dragging the process along to prevent a return.The issue makes no sense and sounds like a firmware problem. I liked the device but going from actively working to help with the issue to no response is disappointing. And the issue isn’t resolved and requires me to set the time for the dash cam every time I connect to the device.**Update 7/15/24**Finally got the vendor to respond and after reviewing my testing, and showing them how to reproduce the issue, they fixed the firmware and date/time issue has been corrected. I been testing for 3 days and all looks good. Raising the rating to 4 stars.
