I have had tonsil stones for ever and this tool is a definite game changer. I have been to the GP so many times as my tonsils and glands seem to inflame. They just tell me what to rinse with salt water but I still get them. I found that is I push the vacuum pump over the stones it sucks them out really well. It is a bit grim and I was surprised at the size of the stones I managed to remove. I was even surprised at the size of the cavities on my tonsils after removing the stones. I think the key to success is drinking plenty of water and gargling with salty water a few times a day. This tool can then be used for additional maintenance when you don’t manage to keep on top of such a routine. It can be a bit tricky to use but it does such a good job it is worth the perseverance. I would definitely recommend this product.

Doesn't work at all, was semi convinced from the few good reviews that say it's good but it's absolutely rubbish don't bother with it.

Extremely effective at vacuuming out a tonsil stone on the very first attempt, I noticed over the past month it just wasn't going away and was located in an awkward area which was hard to reach. Gargling with warm salty water was not enough using this no gagging involved. Never had tonsil stones in my life before and this was hands down a very easy to use product that got the job done. Full extraction of the build up out in one go. Hopefully not going to get any in future but got this to hand if ever needed.

Unfortunately this product does not work. I have given it 3 stars because as everyone else has noted, it comes with a helpful light. Sadly I would not recommend this if you're looking for a solution.

I found this quite awkward to use without hurting my tonsils or gagging. Tried it a couple of times but gave up and haven't used it since. It has a good reach on it but is clumsy to use.

To the question - how do I get rid of my tonsil stones. I have tried every mouth wash and every gadget and this is the only thing that works for me. I use it in 2 ways; firstly, as a tool for physically sucking the stones and gunk out and secondly as a flusher, when I fill it with cooled boiled salt water and aim at my tonsils. Consistency is key. I do it 3x a day and I really feel it has improved my breath. I don't have that horrible taste you get sometimes or the feeling of something being stuck at the back of your throat and people, who never tell you that you have a problem with your breath are not showing the subtle signs, that you are ultra aware of, that your breath smells.I really recommend this as part of a good oral hygiene routine. It takes a bit of getting used to but worth persevering with.My only wish is that it had an integral light which would make it much easier to use. It does come with a separate light pick but it is tricky to hold both.
