Trustworthy Brand Supplement
I have taken Bio Trust formulas and used other products by them and trust their quality. The dose is two capsules per day and contains 1336 mcg of folate, 500 mcg of methylcobalamin, 300 mg alpinia galanga (ginger family) extract,120 mg of ginkgo biloba, and 100 mg of l- theanine. There is rice flour, cellulose and l-leucine and a vegetarian capsule. What I like about this formula is the ease of taking a nootropic supplement and there is no caffeine, so I can take it any time of day. I try not to take too many b vitamins close to bedtime, so I would prefer to take this in the morning and have done so for almost two weeks. It is hard to quantify the effects of a supplement on your ability to focus and other mental alertness benefits but I do feel for my age I do quite well with memory and ability to focus (although that is an issue for me thanks to a bit of attention deficit that runs in the family).

Horse Pill Size
I dont know if they work because they are horse pills and our tween refuses to take them. It would help if they were a smaller pills to take.

My Impression is that this is a Good Product by a Reputable Company
I was interested in trying this supplement because nootropics intrigue me, and because this company appeared to have a bit of a track record. But before I try any supplement I do my best at evaluating potential safety issues by looking at a company’s transparency, accountability and quality. The short version is that I feel like this is a reputable company and a supplement I feel comfortable trying. Transparency: Biotrust Nutrition has trademark history dating to 2012. Per linked in, “”In 2012, fed up with scams, Josh Bezoni and Joel Marion founded BioTRUST Nutrition, which is an Austin-based company created to produce products that are bigger, badder, and better than literally anything else on the market from both a quality ingredient and scientific effectiveness standpoint”. Their headquarters are in Golden, Colorado. Bezoni is also a respected philanthropist, having donated millions of dollars to top-rated charities himself and through his companies (which I like). Also BioTrust has a super transparent web page and a help center with all sorts of fabulously transparent information. Accountability: According to the Amazon web page, this product is “manufactured in a GMP-certified facility and undergoes rigorous third-party testing for major allergens, heavy metals, and of course, potency.” The star ingredient (at least to me!) is “enXtra” 300 mg, a trademarked form of Thai Ginger was developed by a company in Mumbai, has been the subject of more than one study and appears to currently be owned by OmniActive Health Technologies. It is said to provide an energy boost that lasts up to 5 hours. Quality: To me a trademarked ingredient is a sign of a quality supplement. The only problem is that enXtra was studied at a dose of 600 mg twice a day, and this supplement provides 300 mg once a day. That said, I couldn’t find any enXtra supplements that contained more than 300 mg per daily serving (It wasn’t an exhaustive search though), so they may have decided that 3oo mg was a sweet spot dosage wise? These capsules are a uniform tan color with a mild peppery sort of scent. The supplement also contains the B vitamins Folate and B12, Ginkgo Biloba (standardized ) 120 mg, and L Theanine 100 mg (both in a range commonly seen used in supplements). Of course my gold standard is to find a supplement that’s being marketed by its manufacturer, where it’s easy to verify things like Good Manufacturing Practices. But the reality is that most supplements are sold by distributors, who are often less able to prove things like GMPs, or to list the lab that does third party testing. My overall gut feeling though is that this is a reputable brand that I feel comfortable taking. Will update when I’ve tried it mid way through a few 12 hour shifts! For those who may be concerned, there is an allergy warning on the label that mentions these being made in a facility that processes 10 potential allergens.

Good, effective energy supplement.
I've tried a few various energy boosting supplements but this is my favorite so far. Most claim to boost energy, but really have little effect on me. Unless they contain caffeine, which I might as well enjoy as a coffee instead and suffer the same jitters. This is a 30 day supply based on the 2 capsule serving, but sometimes I think 1 capsule works well too if I just need a little extra energy. Everyone is different so while this works for me, this might not be the same for others. I've ordered energy boosting supplements that had raving reviews but did absolutely nothing for me, so it's hard to say if others experience the same benefits. These are made in the USA. It states that these are developed in the USA on the listing and on the label. As for fillers, it is common for supplements to include fillers like rice flour to fill out the capsule. Plus some fillers help with digestion and aid in absorption. I don't consider fillers to always be a bad thing. Overall I like these and the quality is great. The bottle was sealed well, the capsules seem fresh and I experienced no bad effects from taking these. And these actually do work for me and help energize me, which is the main reason I ordered them.

Provides focus benefits
This nootropic has three primary ingredients:alpina galangal root extract, a spice similar to turmeric which has antioxidant properties, ginko biloba extract, which also is an antioxidant and purported to help with memory issues, and L-Theanine,an amino acid which may help with focus. Because this is a non-caffeine nootropic, it can be taken in the evening hours. I have taken a number of nootropics, and this is a somewhat unique ingredient mix with the addition of aplina galangal. While this is not a stimulant, I found it did provide focus benefits. The recommended serving size is 2 capsules. The product label indicates it undergoes third party testing to ensure purity and potency.
