One of the best katanas at this price range.
I really like pattern weld blades, and this sword is sharper and better built than others I have gotten in this price range. The blade is slightly thicker than most, and so is the tsuka. The pattern on the blade is different from the usual random fold patterns you see in swords like this, this one is deliberate by design. The fittings actually look like brass rather than brass colored zinc alloy. The showcase pictures do not do the saya justice, it looks far better in person. The one and ONLY gripe I have about this sword is how tight the koiguchi was, but it's nothing a little filing work can't fix and I know a technique in draw the blade out even as tight as it originally was without damaging the saya or the blade.

Pretty Good
So this product is pretty good. The blade seems solid and very sharp. The sheath for the blade is also pretty legit. Hand made seems like a stretch, it says it was made in China and definitely gives was made on an assembly line vibes. It doesn’t come with the display in the pictures or a cover for the handle. It looks like the handle is made mostly of some sort of hard plastic. Overall I was impressed with the blade while the rest seemed average.
