Poor Entry-Point into Nerf Gelfire - Save up for a Legion.
I bought the Nerf Ignitor, despite the poor Youtube reviews. I was a fool. To it's credit, it does look quite nice (in my opinion), and it is made of high-quality plastic. It has two tactical rails that are only compatible with Nerf's 'competitive' blasters (eg; Nerf Pro, Hyper, Rival, etc.). The gun often has feeding and mechanical issues. If the hopper is too full, instead of shooting a Gelfire round, it looks like nothing happened on the outside. Internally, a small Gelfire round shoots halfway up the barrel, stuck until another few more Gelfire rounds eject the gel ball out of the barrel. 'Okay, cool. Now that I've wasted 10-20 Gelfire rounds, I can finally fire my Ignitor.' Is what I was thinking at the time. It turns out, if the hopper is any of the below: .Too full .Too empty .Tilted at a medium upwards angle .Tilted at a medium downwards angle - - - - Then the blaster will double shoot, triple shoot, quadruple shoot, and the most I saw was a quintuple gel shoot. Note that this isn't as cool as it sounds - it's not a fun pistol -> shotgun thing. Every round that farts out of the blaster at the same time lowers the muzzle velocity significantly. Remember when I said I shot 5 rounds? It crawled out of the barrel, dropping on the floor. VERDICT: Save up for a Legion, or even a Mythic if it's discounts continue to get more and more absurd. Although the Ignitor looks snazzy, it's performance is abysmal by any means. It's not fun for casuals, too inconsistent for plinking, and too low of a capacity for competitive. Additionally, like with all Nerf Gelfire blasters, this thing is an absolute PAIN to reload without a bucket-full of dehydrated made hydrated rounds - only cost effective if you buy dehydrated rounds standalone (the Ignitor comes with hydrated rounds).

Great entry into Nerf Pro Gelfire… if modified.
The Nerf Pro Gelfire Ignitor is the cheapest way to get into Gelsoft on the cheap. It’s easy to use, it’s built very well. But one issue is performance. This Blaster is the “Grey Trigger” variant which identifies that this blaster is weaker than its US counterpart, I got stock chronograph readings of between 80-105fps whereas the US (orange trigger) model would hit 150+fps. This is to comply with EU law but considering Xshot sells their 14+ pro blasters which hit 140fps here it’s a shame Hasbro can’t send the better model. However with a spring upgrade it can easily hit over that, with a K25 upgrade spring hitting up to 220fps in my testing. Overall the blaster is very much worth it if you’re just playing around with it but if you want performance, purchase an upgrade spring or look elsewhere such as with Xshot.

compact, but quiet weak+ inconsistent
This gel blaster is very inconsistent-does double shots a lot. shoots weak. I think it's nice blaster for 6-8 years old child ,or backyard , but not for Gelsoft
