I'm a U.S. Marine, and I can honestly say that this product is a great disappointment and, a piece of garbage! I payed good money for these boots, for them to fall apart in only two days of simply walking in them! These boots would not last an hour of hard training! Absolutely useless, and a waist of money!

Pro: Boot seems very well made, sole is rugged and clearly defined.Con: The main issue I have with the boot is that the Zipper does not go down far enough, forcing you to unlace to put the boot on or off, which is the only purpose of the zipper. Look in the picture you will see that the zipper ends above the location of a normal cut shoe. Other brands I have used the zipper goes almost to the sole so you can easily get the boot on and off, this one requires unlacing and unzipping! Secondly, although they are not steel toed or reinforced at all on the toe, they are very thin and weak at the toe, it is only a matter of time before the toe loses it's shape. The insole is almost non-existent, you will need to purchase some good inserts , which will bring the overall cost of these boots up. The boot is narrower than other brands in this same size, so you may want to go up half a size. I advise against this model of boot, this is the first pair of this brand I have experienced, probably the last, sad because the craftsmanship is excellent, the design is where they missed the mark.

Loved the look of the boot however as soon as I took them out of the box to try them on the Velcro covering on the zipper tore off and the zipper was broke. Sent them back the same day.

OK so I ordered these because I did not want to spend $200 on the Harley Brand without being able to try them on.These look very close so I thought for the price I would give them a try. I am very pleasantly surprised.The Good:They came packaged as new, with all the right stuffings, desiccant bags etc.They look good.The toe material is definitely ready for a spit shine polish (if desired)The soles are well crafted and Oil resistant.The zippers are heavy duty and look to be able to last a long time.The Bad (sort of)Was concerned by some of the reviews of pull straps and Velcro closures coming off in the users hand at purchase - no such happening on mine.Was concerned by the made in China (i.e. cheap stuff that doesn't last) but again, look and feel to be of significantly better quality than expected.So far nothing negative - thought the laces would be a little short but as they break in and form to my feet there is plenty of lace.Overall:I am breaking these in by wearing thin socks and loosely tying them at first. Next day I wore thick socks and tightened the laces (from toe to shin) then zipped. As the leather is breaking in it is forming to my feet very nicely. They were completely comfortable on day 1 and on day 2 they are starting to feel like an old, field worn pair of my favorite jungle boots from back in the day. Unless there is something that goes very wrong with the construction in the next few weeks I will be coming back for the tan set as well.

They look good! Not much more. I made the mistake of wearing some low-cut socks and the top of the zipper cuts into your leg to the point of bleeding. Easily remedied by wearing longer socks of course.I wear regular size 9 sneakers and other boots, but this wide size 9 boot was still tight around the toes. In addition, the toe cap isn't that flexible. Every time I'd take a step in these, they would press uncomfortably into the top of my feet.Lastly, the boots started excreting this strange white powder around the stitching. I'm not sure if it's me or something else, but overnight this powder started accumulating around the stitching. If you wipe it away, it'd come back.Did I mention they look good at least?

Don't waste your money. The zippers are terrible and almost non-functioning. Didn't expect much for the price, but these were really a disappointment! Thought they would loosen up, did not.UPDATE: I was finally able figure out how to return these due to being defective. They have a 1 year warranty but I returned them in under 2 months. Even though the 30 day window was past, I was still charged for return shipping and some sort of restocking fee. Being they were returned due to being defective, not because I did not like them, I think this is inappropriate on the part of Amazon.

These are a very comfortable pair of boot, good looking and you can move freely your toes without feel crunched. Can be stand on then 9 hours on a cold warehouse. The zipper on their side maked a breaze to put and take them off. You can place you choice of foot insole but I doubt that you need it. You can’t beat the price.

I bought these boots for an EMT Academy back in August, and wear them all the time. They are a little larger than I expected, but gives me enough room to wear thick socks (which I strongly suggest you wear until they are broken in unless you want quarter sized blisters on the side and backs of your ankles). Other than that they are extremely comfortable, I've tried to polish the toe to a shine, and I just couldn't get the gloss look. I did everything I knew to do, including taking them to my Mother who is a veteran for help. Great deal though!
