Nice "tape" measure -- tiny instruction print
I had to scan the instruction sheet so I could read the small print. The unit is capable of several different kinds of calculation in the area of measurement. The laser was bright and easy to find on the target item. The measurement was taken quickly and accurately. There was a bit more of a pause when asked to calculate an area or volume. It does straight line measurement, and can calculate areas and volumes and perimeters and calculate diagonals. The manual could better explain the 3 different Pythagorean measurements. The biggest drawback (and the loss of a star) is the fact that each time you turn it on it starts off in meters. It needs to have an option to set the start off units.

Feature-packed with a usable long range
I recently had the chance to test this laser measuring device from SG SURGOAL. It boasts an impressive range along with a bright, easy-to-read display. After putting it through its paces, I'm pleased with both the accuracy and unique capabilities.Testing over multiple distances, the readings were consistently within around 1/16 of an inch accuracy per 10 feet, give or take. The bundled calculation functions like area and volume save time trying to do the math yourself or dig out your phone, a convenient bonus. Those extra features do mean that the ease of use trails higher-end models like the Bosch GLM100, but the controls are straightforward once you read the manual or spend some time fiddling with it. And features like the Pythagoras indirect height calculator and built-in bubble levels add functionality. For a much lower cost of pro-grade lasers, this unit packs impressive specs (e.g. the 328-foot max range) into a compact, rugged body with a convenient carrying case and strap. I also like the multiple formats of display - including meters, and feet of course - but also the fractional imperial units (10' 2" 1/16) and inches. Honestly, I couldn't really find a feature this one DIDN'T have, which given the current price for the 60m unit (about $25) and only about $10 more for the 100m unit (over 300ft!! 3x the higher priced Bosch!) this seems like a bargain to me.
