Wakeach 85W Charger for Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch (Made After June 2012), Replacement for Magsafe 2 Power adapter  I was looking for a replacement for my charger cable for my MacBook Pro 15in late 2013 and came across this one and it is built well and I was able to replace a number of other USB chargers due to the 5 USB ports. One of the great things about this charger is that it will sense if your device will handle fast charging this device will handle it with ease. The cable that comes with it fits perfetly with my MacBook Pro and handles the power with no issues.

I'm starting a new business and tired of wrapping up my charger every time to go between home and office, so I bought this a couple weeks ago. I use this one at work....it is so handy because it has the USB ports to leave my iphone charging cord plugged in. Just have to make sure you're buying the proper wattage. This seller does the best job of any items I viewed of telling you explicitly how to check your model number and which models are compatible.

I purchased this in Jan. 2019, it is Oct 2019 and it has quit working. The product page says "1 year hassle free warranty". When you click on the seller it ultimately directs you to Amazon's return policy page, which of course says it is beyond the thirty day window. No other visible means to contact the seller for warranty replacement. If the seller contacts me I will amend this to reflect the resolution, otherwise I would highly suggest you DO NOT purchase this unless you are willing to consider a disposable charger.I would also add that in the recent 2 weeks the plug was becoming increasingly hot. The laptop recently had an Apple factory battery replacement so the battery should not be the issue for the heat. 2 stars generously given since it lasted 9 mos.10/27/2019 Update: After going through a rather byzantine process to find an email, the seller did reply and a replacement with the updated version was sent no charge under warranty. I have amended to four stars based on the seller's response and willingness to honor the warranty. Plug at computer side is still getting rather warm but function otherwise appears normal.

Since there were only two one-star reviews I figured that this charger would be safe to use, however after using it for a little under the month my laptop has started overheating and shutting down because of the extreme temperature. The battery life has also been destroyed (it goes from 60% to 20% in less than 10 minutes). This is unfortunate because charging it all the time makes it overheat even more. This charger was all I could afford, but it might be worth begging for the extra $30 on the street and getting a real one.UPDATE: Their customer service team was eager to try and help me so they sent me a replacement charger. I haven't used it very much yet but it appears to overheat my laptop less slowly (though it still overheats). This one makes a loud buzzing noise that previous reviewers had mentioned, but I don't mind that too much. I'm updating my review to four stars so I don't damage their business too much, but I would still recommend thinking about how an off-brand charger will affect your laptop's battery life.

I usually am suspicious of third party chargers and I have been closely watching it during the first week of use : it works just great. It doesn't overheat (one of my concerns), it happily recharges my laptop, phone and tablet (and other rechargeable gadgets), and optimizes the amount of stuff I carry in my backpack as a result (just one charger!); the magsafe cable works just fine too (there was a another comment about the magnet being weak, I haven't noticed that on mine); so I would definitely recommend.

It works with my MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012). After having many of Apple's chargers' cords wear out I decided to try other brands. I chose this one because it has two three innovations 1) it has USB ports, 2) it has a replaceable (laptop-side) charging cable, and 3) has a replaceable and standardized (wall-side) cord. This gives it extra functionality and safe-guards against part failure.It also has functional cable management unlike Apple's.I've had it for a couple months now and not experienced any issues.

Surprising charger. Original one is heating my laptop port but this one keep the temperature pretty low.Customer service also resolved an issue that happen with the order before I even contacted them, props to that!And 5 usb ports, what else to ask, can charge all my devices at once without using any port from the mac itself.

CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS EVERYTHING nowadays. In the age where you can't get a person on the phone and emails go unanswered, I look to order from companies that have good customer service reviews and this is one of them!! I ordered this charger cause I travel a lot and I liked how it offers the USB ports as well as the ability to charge my huge MAC laptop. Not only is this charger so much more convenient to travel with, due to the USB's, but also cause its lighter and smaller than the charger my laptop came with. So I appreciate the simplicity and the design. And you can't beat the price. Apple charges so much for replacements. Unfortunately 8 months in part of my charger stopped working. I thought it was the cord that goes from the box portion to the computer that went out. I contacted the company here through Amazon. They got back to me in record time and since I was still within the one year warranty, sent me a new cord, no questions asked. The cord also came pretty quickly, I replaced it and find it's not the cord, it was the 19v plug that must be broken. So I emailed the guy back, and he sent a new charger. They were extremely responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. I will order anything that this company makes! Thank you so much!!
