Got this for my dad, grinds up his kitchen herb really well, and it has 3 tiers so he can get his herb fine and store his dust.

Not useful for me
I bought three of these, two as gifts and one for myself. I have to say I'm disappointed. It doesn't work for nuts or seeds (e.g. for breadmaking), nor for rosemary, which are the only things I've tried so far. Although it has a very solid feel and seems to be well made, it comes with no sort of guide or instruction leaflet whatever so maybe I'm using it wrong but I find myself wondering what it's actually for.

Not a culinary spice grinder!
This is NOT a culinary spice grinder. It is misleadingly labelled & shouldn't really come up in a search for culinary food processing objects. There is no way you could grind something like Star Anise in it or anything large, or even very small like cumin. Very disappointed!
