Whole Bay Leaves, 2 oz

Excellent product. Very large, fragrant leaves. I bought to place leaves in flour and grain containers to prevent bugs but will be using in my cooking, too.

Not fresh leaves. Dried leaves only good to use after grinding and then adding to cooked meals.

The time is coming up fast for summer pickle, canning and other kinds of preserving. These bay leaves are simply wonderful. Naturally, I use them for other things like soups and stews and they are great there as well. But for me they really shine in all sorts of pickles and brine. Excellent quality (mostly unbroken which I personally prefer), very generous package and fair price. Even though I cook a lot these last me a year or longer. I always make sure I have these in my pantry.

By far the best value! Leaf sizes are huge... smells amazing... wasn't to dry and the quality and color stayed amazing after being out for a year.

Took a chance and ordered these McCormick Culinary Bay Leaves, after my local stores had none in stock for couple weeks… and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been using a minimum of 4-6 Bay Leaves per week for a couple months, and yet the bottle is still packed full. They were totally worth the price paid. The leaves are exceptionally good quality. Nice green color, no bad spots or black spotting. Their fragrance & flavor is notable in every recipe I’ve used them in. Best of all, I do not have to dig through the jar to find enough broken pieces, because every leaf is whole!
