Works like a charm
After facing issues with the last wireless adapter, i was pessimistic if this one would work.Surprisingly, this one works pretty well. There is a delay in audio but that’s expected. This box is actually a android powered device and allows you to play youtube, Netflix and media from an sd card

Works about one third the time.
It takes forever to load and if youstop and start it can get frozen. I reset it often sometimes more than once in a day of errands.Very hard to switch from Android to Apple which was the whole point of me getting this. I have both types (work, not, kids, etc.). Pain in the App. I unplug or turn off BT on one phone to try to get other to pick up..There is no button to switch over.Once it actually connects it works ok for a while then it will lose the connection..I have a 17 Honda Pilot.Wish I got something else than this device. I've already tossed the packaging and it's a pain to deal with. Glad it was a bit on sale but this is a total disappointment.Keep looking.

There are no instructions for screen mirroring or any seller support website
Our 3-Star rating was reduced after the lack of any response from supplier and no way to activate an important feature. This product seems to function well for providing an Android Auto wireless connection. However, when connected, the phone projection icon label on our Hyundai Palisade infotainment screen changes to 'Car Play' rather than 'Android Auto' for our Samsung Galaxy S10+ smartphone.Additionally, the description clearly indicates the device has Bluetooth mirroring capabilities (MirrorLink). One of the main reasons we purchased this device was so the passenger could watch movies downloaded to our phone on long trips. So far, we have found no way to mirror our phone screen to the car infotainment screen. Unfortunately, the very meager instruction booklet has NO website address and NO phone number for manuals or support!!!Likewise, the manual refers to system upgrades from an SD card. Again, there are NO links for where users obtain the upgrade. We also dislike the fact that Netflix and YouTube are hard-coded into the interface and cannot be replaced with other icons like Disney+, for example, that might be more useful. The WiFi feature is only useful if you have reception in your driveway or if you use your phone as a hotspot. Off course, unless you have unlimited data, streaming video, music or other media could get pretty expensive on the road. We have not tried playing videos from an SD card, so cannot comment on whether that works or not.[ UPDATE - We initially received a timely response from MTAKYI who suggested the unit was defective and offered us a full refund or replacement. We communicated a desire to attempt to access the advertised phone screen mirroring features (MirrorLink), if they would only provide further instructions. We are very tech savvy but wanted to eliminate any chance we'd missed an important step for connecting properly. After they failed to reply to any of our communications after our first, we requested a refund. ]

It does not do screen mirroring
This device works well, but it does not do screen mirroring. There is nothing on its instructions that suggests screen mirroring being possible.

Was easy to set up. It will reboot a couple of times when you start your car but be patient it will work. I created a Hotspot today and watched Netflix for the first time in my truck...

Works but disconnects frequently
Disconnects frequently. Can't use Netflix or YouTube unless you activate hotspot for some reason. But the frequency of it disconnecting and reconnecting, which makes it skip the song it was playing automatically, I would rather just connect the phone with a wire at this point.
