Filled in where foam was removed
I had to have my tankless water heater replaced. The new installer stripped the foam off of my crawlspace wall to mount the new heater. The new heater instructions state that the new heater can be installed directly against spray foam insulation, ie zero clearance. So I decided to fill that space back in with the Dow Froth Pak foam. The entire process was quite easy. The instructions were clear. The materials were well packaged and identified. I did protect myself as the directions suggested with goggles, face mask, plastic gown and gloves. The package of 12 "surgical" gloves were included with the Pak. I used one pair. This is NOT a messy process. The spray gun did a great job with even spraying. I read several comments that the amount of foam per kit was not enough. I was able to fill the entire space (about 3X4 feet) to roughly 1.5 inches deep with one kit. The foam cured quickly and I used a second kit to completely fill the space to about a total of 3 inches deep. See the attached photo. Cleanup was just as easy. Certainly I would not use one of the Pak 12 kits on a job much bigger than this. This is not designed to cover a large wall in your new build. They sell bigger kits for that. I am very satisfied with this product.

wasted money
As noted in the instructions and in some YouTube videos we watched, there is an "A" and a "B" side to the holster — the labeling is very hard to find but when I finally located it, I discovered both sides of our holster had "A" markings. This was a 2-pack and both holsters were labeled in this way. I figured it might be a misprint but it wasn't. The "A" can attached fine but the "B" can would never seat properly — it would spin around and never lock into position. We were getting some fluid in the "B" line however so we tried to use it — got much less foam than expected and it seemed like it might be off-ratio so we stopped using it. The second set of cans worked about the same. We finally gave up and just wrote it off as a loss (we'd bought them in December but our project was delayed by three months so by the time we got to use them, it was well past the point we could return them.)Note that these pictures were taken after the cans sat in my hot garage for three more months before I finally disposed of them so the images are a bit discolored and the cans look sweaty — not how they looked when we were using them. We ended up buying a $360 Froth-Pak 200 with metal canisters and that worked just fine! We only needed about half the capacity so we gave the rest away to our HVAC maintenance technician who said he could use the rest at home.So between both this unit and the larger one that we ended up buying, we spent about $450 when we only needed about $100 worth of material. I'm glad this project is done — if you're going to buy a kit, the stuff does work well but don't buy this low-capacity kit. It's not worth the hassle.PS: Do make sure you've got good ventilation in your basement to get the smell carried outdoors. Otherwise, it will linger in your house for months.

works
better off buying the 650. buying this way is expensive, however if your unsure its a good way to learn. it's easy, but the instructions arnt very clear, says put part A on yet the mark to tell you which side is almost non existent, hard to see. product works well for small projects, but again buy the 650, goes further and would be cheaper in the end, it is not hard to use.

Worked as expected
I have used the large DIY spray foam applications twice in the past and this product is consistent in application and output from those, just in a much smaller format. Material went on fast and cured quickly for me. I used in a rafter space where I could not cut and attach foam board. The foam is more dense and generally less "poofy" than "great stuff". It comes out fast, sticks, and cures. Don't pile it up in one area, but apply evenly. Make sure the material is warm as stated in the directions to get all the material out of the cans. I let the cans sit in warm (not hot) water for a bit to get up to temperature. It is expensive for what you get, at least compared to foam board, but it does what it says it'll do.

The can with the accelerant just didn't provide appropriate pressure.
Had to hold the trigger mechanism within two to four inches of where I was spraying. I've used the product several times in the past and this just was not very good. Disappointed overall.

Not worth it.
Might be good for really small applications, but do not buy if you are looking to insulate walls. I bought this to try for that reason and it was a waste of 85 bucks. BOTH kits together only covered about a 4x6 area, barely. It doesnt expand that much either. Also, the cans don’t contain enough propellant to get a decent spray kept up. I had to turn the cans upside down and constantly shake them to keep it going. Personally wouldn’t buy again. These kits are worth 20 bucks a pop at most. You can get more out of 5 cans of Great Stuff which are 4 bucks a piece.

Exactly what I expected to get!
Works exactly as described so long as you read and understand the directions first. I got both the quantity and the quality I expected to receive given the price. I would absolutely purchase this again.

Poor product, don't waste your time
The product didn't work well at all. There seemed to be too little propellant to work correctly, and the instructions were terrible. They reference A and B, but both sides of dispenser were labeled A as mentioned in another review. Once setup it would only spray about four inches and only did that at first, after that the spray just oozed out of nozzle. Coverage was at most half of what s listed, and I would say closer to a quarter. The seller did take care of the issue by giving a full refund.
