My favourite fruit cake - takes me back to my childhood!
We used to have a family friend buy us one of these every Christmas when I was young, and everyone fought to have a slice. After not having one for many years I found this on Amazon and splashed out as a treat and it was worth the price and wait as it was as good as I remember. Yes it’s expensive, but it’s coming from America and at least it’s free delivery. And you need to allow 4-6 weeks for it to arrive, but personally as a treat at Christmas I think it’s worth it. It’s not like an English fruitcake (which I don’t really like) and is packed full of glacé candied fruits, but I love them. It comes in a nice tin too which I keep to put random things in! Highly recommend it, but I can also understand why some others have commented that they think it’s overpriced, to me it’s worth it - for the taste and the memories.
