I honestly didn't plan to wite a review about this hat because, well, it's just a hat, right? All I need it for is an upcoming trip where the sun will be beating down on my head for hours at a time and a ball cap would leave my ears & neck totally exposed. But, then it was delivered and I tried it on. Dang! This thing actually provides the 360* shade I was hoping for! The brim is wide enough to provide the protection I was needing & the flap thing (sorry, not sure what it is called) adds an extra layer of block from the sun on my neck & upper shoulders.The hat is easily adjustable for sizing and the chin strap means I don't have to keep grabbing for my hat when the wind picks up. It appears well made with even stitching & no loose threads to clip.It is easily foldable. Previous reviewers complained about the hat being delivered in a bag which caused creases from it being folded to fit. Apparently the Seller listened because mine came in a thin box with only a single fold and the crease easily popped out. I can absolutely recommend!

Excellent hat. I got it for the flap that covers the back of the neck. The hat fits me well with or without my headphones when I go out on my walks. The chin string works to keep the hat in place when the wind wants to tear it off my head. Said wind does make the flap rattle in the wind like a sail would, so if you don't like a noisy hat in high wind, this might not be the type of hat for you. Works for me.

Perfect fit and I have a big head. The top hat portion stays up uniform and the rim is solid flat all the way around. Seems to be well made and is packaged nicely for a product made in China.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:OH MY GOSH. This was perfect for my super pale partner who was going to be out in the sun the whole 4th of July weekend. He may have looked dorky, but he was protected and that's all that mattered!!!

Lightweight breathable durability and is an every day accessory for going outside with full sun. Hubby loves it because it provides excellent coverage and especially in the back of the neck area and the color matches all the outfits

Why did you pick this product vs others?:i fried myself out fishing bought this that night. It completely covers your whole face and neck with the drape on the neck. 10/10 would reccommend

My husband likes to walk and this hat really keeps the sun off his head and the back of his neck. It’s light weight with a medium wide brim. He says he can tell the difference and will keep wearing it.
