Chronic dry skin is better within 24 hours. I use it on my face with damp hands and a dab of lotion. My heels no longer need a pumice stone. If you have cracked red skin, use a small amount several times a day, otherwise it will sting. A little of this lotion goes a long way.I also have dry scalp issues from my medications. I use a half a teaspoon mixed in with my shampoo and wash is normal letting the shampoo sit while I finish my shower. Rinse and condition as usual and this works great no more scabs or sores on my scalp!

This lotion is nicely moisturizing, and is really an amazing product.

I found it difficult to locate Amlactin in the stores so I ordered it from Amazon. When it arrived I used it as usual after a shower. I noticed that the color of the lotion was darker than usual so I assumed it may be a newer formula for 2024. After using it I experienced a tingling and itchy sensation on my legs and arms. Very strange. I looked at the bottom of this bottle (plastic container) to find the expiration date was “2020” and it was manufactured in 2017!! I was beyond flabbergasted to say the least. After quickly washing this product off , I TOOK PICTURES OF THIS TERRIBLY EXPIRED PRODUCT AND SENT IT TO AMAZON FOR THEIR VIEWING!! This could have been a lawsuit if I pursued it further, but was too happy to get but a mere refund and call it a day. HOW DISGUSTING TO SELL A 4 YEAR EXPIRED PRODUCT TO USE ON ONE’S BODY FROM A VENDOR IN SHANGHAI. Never again will I ever take another chance ordering AMLACTIN which happens to be an excellent exfoliating body lotion from any vendor on Amazon. This allergic reaction could have been a lot more serious. I consider myself lucky. BE AWARE for your own protection.

I suffer with very dry skin, and try to keep to cleaner ingredients , and don’t like the feeling oils.This has helped my skin a lotJust beware the smell it bad when put it on but once dry no smell
