I needed a bunch of cheap valves for irrigation control and they also work good for adjusting the output of my fountain!I took one apart just to see how it works and as you can see its not like it's more robust cosin the ball valve but for this intermittent watering application it is more than adequate, just don't just use them to stop flow on a constantly pressurized line or they will probably leak over time.Hands down best price!

They dont stay on the line after a few second's with water pressure they just pop off wont stay on. They leak no matter what yoυ do. In order to keep them on yoυ gotta buy alot of hose clamps and that aint cheap. They are a waste of money, i will never buy them again

I initially installed these in my father’s vegetable garden and thought they were fantastic. Until I turned the water on. 1/2 of the 6 leaked terrible and eventually “blew.” The system had a pressure regulator and all other connections worked well. Great concept but incorrect sizingEdit: the seller was gracious enough to reach out and offer a refund this item.

They work great and have lasted a season and should last a few more.

Unless you want leaking valves, don't buy this junk.

These are fine if they don't pop out, but I'm having to constantly check everything to make sure they actually stay connected.

Pretty useless for the common 1/2" black tubing I have been using for years.

Its barbed design allows for easy installation directly into drip tubing, eliminating the need for additional fittings or tools. Theoretically, this hook design should securely grip the drip tubing, even under higher water pressure, reducing the risk of leaks or detachment.However, despite these design intentions, several users have reported compatibility issues with 1/2" drip irrigation tubing, resulting in significant leakage. My personal experience reflects this discrepancy, as three out of fifteen interfaces exhibited leaks when used with well water, which typically has lower pressure.To address this issue, I reinforced the connections with Stainless Steel Hose Clamps, effectively stopping the leaks. Measurements of the valve revealed diameters ranging from 0.507 inches to 0.644 inches, consistent with the specifications provided on the website. Theoretically, this should allow for compatibility with 1/2" drip irrigation tubing, leaving the cause of leakage to speculation.Despite these compatibility challenges, the concept behind the design is commendable. The ability to precisely control water flow through each section of drip tubing enables tailored irrigation adjustments based on the water needs of different plants, thus minimizing water wastage. Moreover, the simple and user-friendly switch design allows for effortless operation, with a simple twist to open or close the flow of water.
