My granddaughter loves Strawberry Shortcake so it was her birthday party theme. This made the perfect cake topper and a keepsake toy for after. However after ordering I found it at Walmart also for same price so no loss on it.

I am 49 years old and I had one of these when I was a little girl. It brought back my childhood when I saw her. I have to grand daughters but I do have a daughter. I have a hope chest of things I want my kids and grandkids to have when I get old (or die) so they can see/experience what I did when I was young. Strawberry shortcake is still in her box and in my hope chest. I also write in a journal a little bit about about why I thought the item was important to me, and why I want them to know about it. She is the perfect size. I feel she was a great value for the money as well.

I paid extra for the strawberry shortcake doll that was supposed to be scented. I bought it for my daughter who had one of these dolls when she was three years old. I wanted to bring back those same sweet memories with this doll that was scented like the ones in the 1970's. This doll had no scent at all, and I was quite disappointed because I paid approximately $10 more for the scented version.

She is well made and much loved by the recipient. Seems like a quality remake. Strawberry scent was was there only faintly thus the ****
