Works as expected in recessed lighting fixtures
Quality is good for home applications. Extends the socket by about 1-1/2". Exactly what I needed for some non-adjustable recessed lighting fixtures.

Works but easy to bend
We used this to “bring down” the ceiling light bulbs and make the kitchen a bit brighter. The entire thing was very light and easy to bend. But it does what it suppose to. We received one that’s a bit bend out of shape

E26 to E26 extender works great
E26 to E26 extender works great. I needed additional length to utilize a flood bulb for a display and this extender allowed me to do that. The extra length created additional space around the bulb to keep it cool; without the extender the bulb was tight against the recessed socket.

Not sure about these
Bought these over a year ago. For the most part fine, although 2 out of 6 new LED bulbs have died using them. Related? Not sure. The reason I’m giving it 2 stars is that after replacing one with a 40w heavier halogen bulb, I heard a crash in my sink after the light was on for maybe 15 min. The extender has melted and the bulb had come crashing down.

Garbage
I wanted to extend some lights a bit in their recessed lighting. These did the trick. No issues so far!EDIT: Every single one malfunctioned. Probably a fire hazard. Never again.

Nice accessory for canned lights
These are great for extending your bulbs beyond the recessed canned lights. Add brightness to a room by exposing just a bit more of the bulb. They just don't feel as sturdy as other brands I've used but the seem to work just fine.

Fire hazard and complete garbage. Don't waste your money.
I used this product with a 65W bulb, never more than an hour at a time. It melted. Also, they fall apart really easily. These are not currently for sale anymore and I understand why. Don't waste your money.
