I bought my first outdoor solar bug zapper in early May 2025, and I have to say, it has been one of the best investments I've made this summer. I was initially a bit skeptical about how well a solar-powered unit would perform, but it has completely exceeded my expectations. The battery life is phenomenal. It charges fully during the day, even on partially cloudy days, and it consistently runs strong all night long. Every morning, I see the evidence of its work—a pile of zapped flies, mosquitoes, and other night creatures. I also removed the safety nets so it could zap larger night creatures like moths. It's incredibly satisfying to know that I can enjoy my backyard without being pestered by bugs. Because the first one worked so well, I decided to purchase a second unit in August 2025, and I'm happy to report it's just as good. Getting it started was a breeze; I gave it its initial charge with a USB-C cable and was able to use it that very same night. With two of them working in tandem, the results are incredible. It feels like the bug-zapping power has doubled, and my patio is now a truly peaceful, bug-free zone. If you're looking for a simple, effective, and low-maintenance way to deal with pests, I can't recommend this solar bug zapper enough. It's a fantastic product and a great value.

This is easy to set up. The solar power is great, we do not hear it, it’s a great size, and it functions great. You can move it to where ever you want it and it’s super bright so it draws the bugs in.

Very good product! All night I was hearing the snap crackle and pop of moths and other I sects. It came well package too! The solar panel, insect zapper, chain to hang the solar panel, metal stakes, and even the usc-c and extension cords were individually packaged. The instructions were OK, but it seems like it was translated from some cheap AI translator, so better work needs to be done on that end. They even include a small brush to clean out the carcass for the zapper. You can solar charge it or plug it into the usb-c connector. It has 3 settings: Off (chargable), On (not chargable) and Auto (chargabe when it's sunny outside, but not chargable during dusk/night). It has a one year warranty, haven't gotten around to contacting customer service, so I don't know if they're responsive.

There were plenty of lower priced bug zappers on Amazon, but this one looked like it was well built--and it is. This one may seem a bit more expensive on the onset, but it is of a very good quality and has a solid feel. It has a large solar panel on top to give it plenty of juice all night long to get the job done. The zapping surface area is also much larger than those small ones that look like wimpy torch lights. This thing has a great glow and spends all night zapping away at pesky insects. You have two options to either hang it on a provided chain or stand it up on a provided garden spike type stand. We live in a windy area, so chose the latter option. Our primary reason for getting this Bug Zapper was because we live in the south and our open front porch is continually inundated with a swarm of midges, mosquitos and other irritating pests during the hot summer. When night time hits, and the front lights go on, these bugs are attracted to our outdoor lighting and just sit all over the porch. We needed something that was going to attract them AND get rid of them. This Bug Zapper does the job all long night long. Best of all, it's solar powered so it does not require a electrical source nearby. As long as you have sun available, this thing is going to zap the bugs dead. We have seen a greatly reduced number of bugs inhabiting our porch pretty much immediately after having installed this zapper. Gets the job done effectively.

We live in the country and have a lot of flying bugs that end up getting in the house throughout the day. I place this in our great room and leave it on all night long. In the morning, I can see the remains probably over100 flying insects. Also, it has a solar charger with a battery in case you want to put it outside without power. Work's outstanding!
