Love the lights, recommend the warranty
I'm not yet to the 1 yr mark with the lights - they've been very helpful as my basement level office has really bad lighting for most of the day; the overhead light is not adequate, and the light via the window is not enough.** Updating my review. I had previously given this one a lower rating due to one of lights "going bad". Turns out there was an issue with the USB plug going into my power strip. i swapped those out and wah-lah - fixed. Updated to 5 stars

Lotsa Light
These lights will do the job. No doubt. Very pleased with accessories too.About the tripods - yes they're cheapos but I think the complaints of them failing are consumer frustration. Be sure to coax the three legs from the main body before trying to spread them. Gentle prodding until you see how they operate will do the trick.Money well spent and I recommend this kit to all.

I only got two lights from them... I could of gotten three lights same quality flr the same price...
Product is good. It could be better if not having to change the color filter...

Not bright at all
I'm an online clothing reseller so I bought these hoping to photograph the clothing on my mannequin. Unfortunately these are not nearly as bright as I need. These are basically selfie lights. You can't photograph anything bigger than a book. Also the adapters get really, really, really hot.The only positives are they are not bulky (but they are very light weight so easily knocked over) and they were very easy to put together, basically just attaching the light to the stand.

Perfect for product shots! Lightweight. Comes with everything you need in the kit.
5 out of 5 Stars (5)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐[TL;DR][QUALITY] (5/5)[VALUE] (5/5)[EASE OF USE] (5/5)[MET EXPECTATIONS] (5/5)[PACKAGING] (5/5)[REVIEW REMARKS]I predominately shoot product and food shots when I am doing photography. I have shot portraits in the past, but I ordered these lights to use for product and food shots mostly.I found that this set of lights is really beginner friendly, as well as, useful to a seasoned photo or video professional. The lights come with stands, which are lightweight and easy to move around. The tripods are height adjustable and stable. They can be used tabletop or on the floor. The power is controlled inline and plugged into USB for power (USB adapters are included). The stands have ball joint mounts that allow you to position the light head in any direction.I like that these lights are dimmable and also are colour changeable with not only colour temperature, but also with the included yellow, blue, and red lens filters. I do admit, I have not used the coloured lenses in the field. However, the lighting effect is pretty cool and could be used in many applications. These light sticks are really versatile and you can use them for just about any lighting you require. I can see someone using these with great success for video recording or streaming, video conference calling, or similar. These lights are pretty handy to have in your kit or studio setup. The fill light is great for reducing or eliminating shadows, which helps boost the quality of your videos. All in all, this is a decent set of light sticks. The lights are ready to rock, out of the box. I like how easy they are to setup and takedown. They are really bright and remove shadowing really well. The build quality is proportionate to cost of the kit. They are not pro-grade, but they are definitely not junk. The lightweight build of these make them suitable for home studio setups, streamers, and those who are content creators. The lights are also OK for mobile setups, but you do need to exercise care with them, especially during setup and takedown. If you are like me and take care of your gear and tools, you should be fine. I have used these for three (3) different mobile setups on location, without any issues. I store and transport these in a 20 inch suitcase on wheels to protect them in transit. I suggest this type of solution for mobile pros.Recommended based on quality, value, use case, ease of setup and transport, brightness, and programmability of colours. I would order again. In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

It's Both Great and Not So Great
I decided to try and explain to you, a kind of two-tier rating of this product. It's both very good and not so great, but it depends on your experience and the kind of work you do.As a professional product, it would not rate high. It has limited output and does not have the toughness that is needed for everyday handling. These days, it would be criticized for not have "bi-colour" - the ability to change the colour temperature of the light. However, it does have some very nice features.Even though the output of each lamp is only 10 watts, that can be enough to add detail lighting on a set. And with the ability to adjust the output of the light, you could adjust just how much you want to highlight your set. You can adjust the colour with a nice kit for each light - you just need to carefully put the filter in front of the light and you are good to go.The stands are not very tall, but it depends on your subject matters hight, too. If you want to interview someone, the stands just might due in terms of height. One feature I do like about these small stands, is that the stands are locked into position with a twist lock. You can't pinch the sections because the twist lock squeezes the whole tube at once. It would be hard to damage the stands.Included in the kit are two light-weight stands, two ball joints that allow you to move the lights in any direction, two 10 watt lights and two packages of coloured filters. The dimmer control is part of the light switch that both turns the lights on and off.As a professional in lighting for television, would I use this kit on set? Probably not. I could, but I doubt they would withstand what pro gear goes through sometimes. With more time, no rushing about and with a gentle hand, yes, they could be used in some situations.Does this make a good kit for the younger or just starting video person? Yes. It certainly has it limitations, but then again, the price reflects these things. You could shoot some interviews, do product work, learn and experiment with this kit. The colour filters would be a lot fun to play with. And the entire package is nice and small.I would suggest you look to adding some weight to the bottom of the stands, when the lights are at their full height. At work, sandbags are used to secure stands from being knocked over. You can purchase such items, you could make your own or improvise some extra weight.I believe the market for this kit, is for small studios and people who want to start using lighting in their work or passion. They are not powerful units, but then the price is quite low, too. My rating of four stars is more for this market. My only piece of advice is to experiment with where you place your lights, for your different subjects. You will discover things you like and things you don't. That is experience and that's what matters!

good value and versatility but...
Ok, so I am not a professional photographer or videographer, however I do like having a variety of types of lights and stands for my home studio where I like to set my own mood lighting for myself, and also use lights to enhance the odd video, photo, or livestream that I do.In combination with other lights that I have bought over the last few years, these fit a perfect niche for me. When I want to project some colour on a wall as a background light, they work great. They get bright enough for my use but I can see a more powerful light being needed for a bigger studio. They are good as "fill lights" and the stands they come with are nicely adjustable. The second use I have found for these is to use the lights to light up my project table where I work on various projects like crafts, 3d print post processing work, and any other of my projects. The lights tilt exactly as I want them to so that whatever I am working on is lit up from the perfect angle. This really helps when I am working on electronics with a large magnifying light. These lights help fill in where there would usually be shadows. I use them in this case mostly without the colour filters. They come with everything you need to operate them. which is nice, so this is truly a full kit. I have to say for what you are getting at this price point, its great value. Yes they are also lightweight, easy to move around and the brightness can be adjusted with the included controller which is part of the wire that plugs into the included USB wall wort.Great value as twin fill lights and stands. When you start going to the more expensive stuff there is a big gap in price. For example, a brand name light stand similar to the two that come in this kit only brand name and supposedly better-made, is twice the cost of this entire kit, and thats just for a light mount! So if you have a use for what these can do, its well worth the investment which is quite low. They also pack up in a duffle bag or camera equipment bag if you have one quite nice and compact. However I leave them out in my home studio. I love the fact that the light bars themselves can be screwed onto any tripod due to the threaded insert at the edge of the lightbar - which are all metal by the way with an attempt at heat sinking too.So, overall, I think the value here is really good!

Great on stand or not
- Unicucp 2-Pack LED Video Light Stick with 62.99'' Tripod Stand/Color Filter, Home Studio Light Photography Wand Lighting Kit for Game Streaming/Video Recording/Content Creation/Portrait, USB Charger -I love these, not only are they great on the tripod stand but they're also good for mounting on the wall (what I did here) and using as exchangeable lights.I found one small thing with the tripod when I was using it, it was a bit uneven. It's nothing horrible, you can adjust the stand on the bottom to fit your floor, but it was a little annoying.I wish the brightness was adjustable, but if I want it to be a bit less I just add 2 of the colour strips to make it a bit darker.I do like how the strips are not stuck on the lights either, for example if you want purple light you can just double up a red and blue, it's good for different reasons.

Nice features but tripods are limiting
The media could not be loaded. The product is as described. There are 10 brightness levels (see video).Looking at the USB adapter that it comes with, the max wattage would be 10 Watts (2Amps x 5Volts = 10 Watts).I count that there are 114 LED beads, (38 x 3 rows = 114).The light length of the light is about 16 inches. The light spread is a bit narrow and concentrated in the center... this is to be expected for LED strips.I was hoping to put one of these on my desk, but it has a big footprint. The narrowest setting of the tripod is 17 inches. This makes the shortest height about 28.5 inches. The shortest height is 16 inches, but this makes the footprint 29 inches (see photos). The tallest this can go is 77 inches, but it will easily be knocked over if the feet are not spread out wider. The light is made of metal (aluminum) and could be repaired if the lights burn out, as it has Philips screws (3 each side) of the box (see photos).Having the light held horizontally requires the ball-socket to be very tight - otherwise the light will not stay. It would have been nice if it had a screw-mount in the center. The tripods are metal, but the hinge components are plastic. The Ball socket is metal, but handle-part for the tightening mechanism is plastic. This will eventually break, but could be replaced with a metal ring. The constant tightening of the ball-socket when the light is held horizontally could strip the threads eventually. The power controller has a small blue LED light that is always on when the main light is turned off - this makes finding the controller in the dark a lot easier. The cord length is very good. The lights are lightweight, and seem robust. The lights are good for Zoom meetings, but I can't see them being used for photography. They can add highlights or accents. I did not try the filters. The tripods look like they will fail eventually due to the plastic components... but will probably hold for a few years because the lights themselves are not heavy. I would certainly not mount an SLR with zoom lens on any of the tripods.Overall, I like the lights, but am somewhat disappointed with the tripods.
