Does not properly charge the battery. Canon LP-E4 batteries have a chip inside them that requires calibration. This charger does not properly communicate with the battery and will leave the battery useless. While cheap, I would've been better off spending the extra $20 for the correct canon charger elsewhere.

Bought this as a replacement while I was traveling for work.. killed 4 of my OEM canon batteries.
