It works as described it is a caddy for the 2nd chamber of your innovative marine aio tank. Works great for the refugium i set up, it is also one of the only options available that fit the 2nd chamber.To comment on the other reviews, it is appropriatley priced considering innovative marine ones go for like 40 to 80 dollars and arnteven made for the 2nd chamber they are for the primary chambers. Mine arrived brand new, no dried algea. And most importantly if you use this as intended in the 2nd chamber of your IM aio tank which is a long glass rectangle you dont need this to be surounded on 4 sides the glass on the chamber will contain the cheato. This is meant as a caddy for easy cleaning good product

I got a used product that was repackaged and sold as new very disappointed. The algae also flows through the holes so it’s use less.

This has to be a joke! This will NEVER house chaeto algae. First, I was disappointed to see this was only half complete. Two sides are covered two sides are open. Which means nothing will contain the chaeto from flowing into the outtake and either clogging your system or going back into your display tank. Same for the holes on the bottom for water to flow through. This is a HORRIBLE design for chaeto algae, maybe media that can’t be displaced my water or is already in nylon bags but for chaeto? NO WAY.
