Turfresh with BioX Artificial Turf Odor Eliminator Concentrate - Non-Fragrance 1 Gallon

Works really well with odors. I actually use this indoors if my pup has accidents or near his peep pad area. I like that it’s such a big bottle of product since it can last long long while. Nontoxic, fragrance, free and safe for pets and kids.

UPDATE: I have been using this product while cleaning litter boxes, and it works quickly and effectively to banish the stink!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ORIGINAL REVIEW:We have a family of skunks that lives in the woods around our house. I think it's the mama skunk who ventures into our yard every so often, sometimes with little skunks in tow. We also have a dog who would really like to play with little skunks. As you might imagine, these factors result in a pretty stinky situation far too frequently! I found a product last year that really helps take the stink out of our dog, but I still needed something for the side of our garage that inevitably gets sprayed, too, and that's why I ordered this stuff. It is made for artificial grass, sure, but it works on a wide variety of surfaces. It is super concentrated, so this gallon jug will last a long time (depending on how large an area you need to treat, and how frequently, of course). It is meant to be used with a sprayer, which is not included. This is a refill gallon only. However, I don't see why it wouldn't work in a spray bottle for smaller areas. Our skunk friends haven't visited us yet this year, so I tested a small area of real grass where our dog often does his business. It seemed to freshen up that patch of grass, but it is outside, so it's hard to really gauge the difference. I also used this product this morning when I deep cleaned our cats' litter boxes. I think it took out some of the residual stink that seems to live in the plastic. I did notice that the product itself doesn't seem to have any fragrance, and I love that it's made in the USA and that it is safe for my whole family--dogs, cats, and even skunks included!I'm not exactly looking forward to the next skunk spray event, but at least now I know I'll be ready for it. If there are any surprises with how this product performs, I'll be sure to update this review. For now, I can say it seems to work as expected.

Cuprous Iodide is also known as Copper Iodide. I wanted to make sure this ingredient was truly safe for my dogs paws and the sniffing she does of the artificial turf I was spraying it on. Sadly, this ingredient is listed as highly toxic to fish and frogs and there are warnings about not wanting or allowing it to get into the ground water and water run off systems (and into environments with any aquatic invertebrates).BUMMER! BIG BUMMER! We have little frogs in the yard and I just love them, so I can’t risk spraying this and harming them or any system downstream.Prior to learning about the above… I did like that this product was truly fragrance free, and after the first application and allowing 2-4 days of sun afterwards, I did notice the urine significantly reduced and almost gone. I then applied a second application and that took care of it. So, it does work, but might take a couple of applications and you also need to give it a few days to let the chemical breakdown/sanitation process work.But then again… Cuprous Iodide (ie Copper Iodide) being toxic to fish and frogs in the water run-off and downstream. 👎🏻

This odor eliminator does work but I would have liked it to have a fresh scent. We have used it on dog beds and rugs as well as on the astroturf we have on our deck.

I keep a large patch of faux turf grass by our deck for our very spoiled dog who refuses to go out when it rains. This has made his “pee pad” fresh again. I transferred the contents to a pump sprayer and applied to areas. Has a very faint scent that requires smelling directly from the bottle to notice. Also works well on previously marked areas to remove the desire of my dog to remark.

I recently received "Turfresh with BioX Artificial Turf Odor Eliminator Concentrate - Non-Fragrance 1 Gallon" because the pup's area outside was redone with artificial grass (aka "astroturf") and I wanted to make sure I didn't create a new problem in the process.I've used it twice so far and though I have no real way to test how much scent was eliminated (before or after), the product does seem to remove all unpleasant aromas. This product is admittedly a bit on the pricy side (currently listed at $49.99 for a 1-gallon jug), but it's a concentrate, so just remember you're mixing it with water, so it should go pretty far.To me the biggest selling point is that the ingredients are non-toxic.

I got this to use on my cats littler boxed and it really got the odor out of the plastic. It is easy to use, and it really doesn't take a lot of product to do the job. It is all natural and free of fragrance so it will not irritate your pet's nose. It is really great and will work until I can switch to stainless steel litter boxes. It is concentrated so this whole jug will last a long time for what I use it for.

This works extremely well at getting rid of outdoor odors without the fear of using toxic chemicals. It doesn’t have too much of a fragrance or leave behind any additional smells, it more so just gets rid of the existing odors. I haven’t had any damage when using this near my plants or grass. It was super easy to use, I just diluted it into a spray bottle with some water and walk and spray wherever the odor is. I’d say I definitely noticed the reduction pretty much as soon as it dried down, it’s really helpful, especially if you have a smaller yard.
