Murad Environmental Shield Rapid Age Spot Correcting Serum 30ml

This is a lovely silky smooth serum that feels great on the skin. It has definitely lightened my pigmentation but it hasn’t disappeared, completely, only something like laser treatment would do that now but I’m so much happier with my skin after using this.

I am a huge fan of Murad skin products and find them to be of excellent quality. The only downside with them is that they are pricey but I find them to be good value for money because of their efficacy. They just work!I am now of the age where I have some age spots on my face and on the back of my hands. I have found the serum to heave had a noticeable positive effect, especially on my hands. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using it for more than a month, I don’t see any difference, dark spot on my face still there. I’d give it a 4 star for the scent but also isn’t giving me tingling sensation on my face because I have allergy to fragranced creams, so I’d say this cream is okay for sensitive skin but not really worth the money. It does however gives you a glow, but removing dark spots? sadly no. But for what it worths, I never had expensive face cream before so this was like an experiment. I am also not sure if this is an offical Murad product…if you really want to try this cream I’d suggest you check in stores first or buy from the product website.

This serum is designed to reduce the appearance of age spots, hyperpigmentation and dark spots in only one week. It is applied morning and evening to cleansed skin and you need to add sun protection during the day to avoid further damage. Although there were promises of instant skin brightening, I have not seen any noticeable difference after just over a week of use; to be honest, I really didn’t expect to over that short a time even though that is what is promised.It feels light on the skin and is absorbed easily without leaving it greasy or feeling overloaded. I did notice several spots came up about three days after I first used this, but they cleared by day five, so it wasn’t a permanent reaction and hasn’t repeated despite continued use.I will continue to use it and will report back if I find it makes any difference over a longer period of time but so far claims of a difference after a week of use have not been borne out, so I am sceptical it will make any longer-term improvement.UpdateAnother few weeks on and there is still no perceptible difference to skin colouration and this is certainly no quick fix. I don't have laboratory conditions in which to photograph my skin to do a comparison like that (a subtle difference in lighting can make it look as though major differences have occurred even where there is no change) but nothing looks different in my shots so far.UpdateI have now used up the serum and still am unable to see any difference to my complexion. The end of the pot came as a surprise as it still felt heavy - the inner tube is made of a thick, heavy plastic that adds a lot of weight. There's only 30ml of product in a very large container, so impossible to tell how much is left until it runs out. I pulled the container apart and found a small amount of serum remained inside and was able to remove that but with no discernible difference after following instructions and using the whole lot, this is not something I will be getting again.

Bottle broken and unfit for use. Had to hold upside down to get anything out and after using small amounts it’s given up now. Ridiculous.

While this product lightened brown spots it did not get rid of them. I used the contents sparingly and before I knew it the container ws empty very quickly. A large container for not much content was my supposition. The huge increae in cost now makes it not worth buying any more at£70 for what I saw as a half container filled product.

don't know if the bottle is empty or the pump is broken but took about 20 pumps to get a tiny amount- tried turning upside down, shaking...nothing- do I keep trying or give up?

This product is awesome! I took a fall in September 2017 and it caused a brown spot the size of a 50 cent piece on my cheek. I was devastated! I love all of the other Murad products that I use so thought, "Why not try this one?". I have been using it daily and the results are amazing!! I had to wait for the severe bruise to go away and there was this huge brown spot. Much to my pleasure, this product has done the job of removing the large brown spot!!!! I have been using it for approximately54 weeks and just ordered another as it really does lighten and begins to diminish all spots.

I gave it 4 stars, not because it faded spots, but because my skin has never looked healthier. I have adult acne, especially around my jaw. Sometimes it gets so bad, that I have to take prescription meds and topical face cream. I discontinued everything because my face completely cleared up, and the tone is evening out. My skin looks refreshed and feels smooth. I don't know if it was the cream, but the timeline is exact, and I'm doing nothing different. Decades of acne, gone. Like, 100% gone. It's weird.Not sure if Murad knows this, but it may be something to explore further

So I have had bad two years of acne leaving lot of deep scars and spots. I have tried multiple products and this was again one of my impulsive purchases as seen in an article. Wasn’t thinking much but I must say there is a great difference and I love it. I am going to keep using it!!

I wanted to try this product as I am in my 60s and starting to have a few dark age spots on my skin even though I use 100% sunblock always. I am very fair and have thin sensitive skin. It reacted immediately with a bright red almost sunburn look on my skin that lasted all day. It didn't hurt just turned bright red and a little dry feeling. So I did not use again. Just be aware if you have similar skin. I am sure if you don't have sensitive very fair skin it probably works great.
