I chose this particular microwave oven after doing a quick "top 10 best recommended" search. I have purchased a number of Faberware products and am quite happy with the quality and economical price points for them. This is a size and power upgrade for an aging GE 700 Watt countertop microwave oven. The included instruction manual is easy enough to follow and setup went fairly quickly. The unit build is quite sturdy and the easy touch Control buttons respond well. Functionality is excellent and relatively quiet. The internal glass platter has reasonably powerful steady rotation as well as the internal space being lit while in use. I can easily recommend this product to anyone looking for a mid sized countertop microwave while not breaking the bank to acquire a quality solution. One of the nicer aspects of this particular model is it comes in 7 different sizes, the larger ones with increased power ratings as well as multiple color schemes to choose from. Easy and economical choice to accommodate most any counter space.

I love how it looks and how small it is. We have very limited counter space, and this works perfectly in our small kitchen. It fits a medium size casserole dish. It cooks just as well as my old, larger one.

This is a nice microwave, looks good on the counter. Does have an interior light so you can view what is cooking. Is fairly quiet, once in a while it seems to get loud. Has multiple presets. Does have a door lock, which IMO is very annoying. Haven't looked in the manual yet to see if it can be turned off. Seems to cook well. I use my microwave and slow cooker a lot, so depend on them. So far, so good with this microwave.

Very sturdy. Prefer the pull handle for opening. Like that it has a dark interior instead of white. Works great! Great microwave for the price.

It’s rather odd, but the top criteria for my selecting a microwave oven to replace our old one that broke was how it would fit into the decor of the kitchen. I needed something that was black with stainless steel offset. It basically came down to a choice between Black and Decker and Farberware. The second criteria was power. I previously had a 900 watt microwave which I was used to but was looking for a compact unit that was just a little bit more powerful. As far as versatility is concerned, I liked the layout of the Farberware controls better., especially having the Time Cook and Power buttons right there on top. So I went with the Farberware, The microwave was not that noisy. Yes you could hear it running. With all the comments on how noisy the microwave was, I was expecting it to be noisy. It was quieter than the last microwave I had. If there was one criticism I would have, and it’s entirely a personal one, it’s the fact that it has 5 beeps when it finishes which is the same as my coffee maker when it finishes brewing so I can’t hear the difference between the two. Other than that, the five beeps are perfectly fine. It does exactly the job I want it to do as a microwave oven. It cooks the food thoroughly and evenly, better than my previous microwave oven. So it’s exactly the appliance I was looking for and does exactly what I want it to do. I use the microwave heavily on a daily basis so my hope is that it holds up for at least a few years or hopefully longer. Replacing a microwave oven is an inconvenient and painful event. Inconvenient because you lose the cooking appliance you are dependent upon on a daily basis for cooking and reheating a lot of your food. Painful because you have to transport a rather heavy piece to a facility where it can be processed.

I am extremely disappointed in this Microwave. I live in Sydney Australia and I purchased this item from Amazon AU. Therefore I expected it to be Aussie Compliant. But it has a foreign electrical plug and every time I press the START button it trips my circuit breaker and switches off. It is un-usable. Obviously I will need to return it and that entails a whole other world of hassle and annoyance. What a joke. Time wasted and expense not to mention the endless reading you need to do and follow to get a simple refund. Not happy at all!!!

It was delivered broken. Opened it up and there were shards of glass everywhere.
