Bog Deathgrip BALLHEAD Conversion Complete KIT

It is a little pricier then the other options but it is high quality stuff and it shed some weight and works so much better with this swivel head conversion only time we'll tell how well it holds Up though!

Was easy to install and converted my Bog into a ball head tripod. It very sturdy with a large ball. When you are installing the conversion, you will not need the old bearing and races because the head will no longer turn at that point. I was going to buy the part separately but glad I did not. The mount you install on the bottom of the deathgrip uses the same screws you just removed because it was designed that way. You won't get this buying separately. Im happy with the results. I have not fired my gun on it but have used my glass on it and it's stable, very stable.

Product is nice sadly the tolerance is not great on the first unit. The upper swivel has a lot of play not to mention the arca adapter slides back and forth. Tightened the knob down until it bottoms out still the plate slides not very good for shooting long range. Contacted barker outdoors and shared videos of the issue. After contacting the shop they’re quick on correcting the issue. I cannot speak enough of the kindness received and great customer service. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a great upgrade to their capable tripod.

I have to admit I was a bit leery but decided to try it anyway. Man am I glad I did. I am a guide and outfitter and pack the death grip for my clients to shoot off. But had a hard time putting my spotting scope in the clamp. The bearings in the bog death grip work fine when you have some leverage but are super gritty when you just have your spotter on it. This ball head is soooooo smooth and way lighter than the original pan head. It also cut 2 lbs off my setup which is especially nice. The thought that went into this product is evident in its functionality. I love that I can still quickly put my death grip back on for my clients. It is super easy to change over from the original apparatus to this stellar ball head.

I don’t normally write reviews but had to take a moment for this product. Absolutely phenomenal build quality. I’m so impressed. The instructions were clear and the install was so simple. This has transformed my BOG Deathgrip. It now holds my spotting scope, binos and other “toys” incredibly securely and simply. Love it!
