Mars Coat King Spare Blade, 12 Blade Replacement, Fine Texture

I’ve used the Mars Coat King sized for Cairn terriers for at least two years now. Recently I thought the blades needed sharpening, but instead I discovered the blade assembly could be replaced. Earlier this week the blades arrived. I used pliers to remove the tight caps holding the blade in the device, and quickly slipped the new blades into place. I have a photo of the hair which came off my boy MacDuff when I groomed him a second time, using the new blades.Wonderful. The look of cut hair (from the last use with the dull blades) disappeared and he now looks cooler and thinner. Such a LOT of hair, he has a very dense coat.I have also his sister Bella to groom with the new sharper blades. And I ordered another complete Mars Coat King with the 12 blades, about a #10 I think according to Barbara Bird’s videos of grooming pet Cairn terriers (on YouTube). I highly recommend the Mars Coat King product.

Great little tool for breaking up mats.

There was a problem with my order that was corrected promptly and courteously.This is an excellent grooming tool, the only one I have found that will thin my dog's heavy undercoat without hurting him.

I do have a 30 blade, but what I ordered is twice the size I needed. The blades on the replacement were wider apart, and I had no idea that it would be. I will be returning the blade.

If you have a dog that gets stripped like our Norwich Terriers and don’t want to do the task this will do a fair job. Keep in mind you are cutting not pulling so this can NOT be used on show dogs but I love it for my older Norwich!

It works well on my Irish Setter's spay coat. You have to be careful to make sure that the coat is totally saturated with water or it will pull before it cuts. It has restored the natural chestnut lister and beauty of my dog's coat.

Been using this for years for our Cavaliers to get out the extra hair and love that it's possible to get the replacement head without having to buy a new handle. Easy to remove and replace.

I've long been using no. 16 blade successfully but this no. 10 works even better in quickly removing topcoat on my cairn terrier.

My Springer Spaniel looks like he is being groomed by a professional daily since we have the coat king! Fantastic product!

Disappointed this this replacement, it is not a sharp as the original which came with the handle
