WOW88|I love this book, any women who is pregnant, wanting to be a mummy or is a mummy, you have got to read this.You don't need to read any other books for pregnancy through to your child being 12 months old , this is far better than any other book. It is the truth Liz does not mince her words and I really felt I connected with her.I laughed so much reading this helpful bible. This book is absolutely amazing and essential. It's like chit chatting with the best friend and advisor and better yet she's available at any time! It answeres all questions, prepares all female thinking about family and children, practical loaded with solid advice from someone who's been through it and wants to enjoy it and her life!My sister is pregnant and I don't want to let go of my copy though I am single and with no babies I'm going to order her a new one!Thanks Liz,Nancy

Do not read this book if you're pregnant!!! Im currently 29 weeks and was expecting a light hearted read with a few tips for getting through labour and the first few months. Why is it helpful to repeatedly tell me that giving birth is the worst experience I will ever go through, that I can never imagine or prepare for the pain and that breastfeeding will just be a continuation of that agony.Totally useless.

I enjoyed this book so much I bought another for a friend. No its not a medical dictionary as some other reviewers seemed to have expected but it is informative, fun and reassuring.

...and if the giggles from beside me in bed are anything to go by, albeit they might give a man a complex, it's a very, very funny book.

A very enjoyable and fairly light read. It was a good companion to me in the early days with my newborn.

Good, honest (sometimes frighteningly) book about pregnancy through to the early months, does as it promises-tells you things no one else does! A humourous, frank and warm take on becoming a mum!
