These installed OK, and there were no problems attaching ring or fork terminals to the screws. I've found no electrical issues. The only (minor) problem is that the press-on covers sometimes didn't stay in place under the vibrations of use in a truck. (Some "tweeking" of the holders seemed to take care of it, though).

Fantastic product at an amazing price. Provides tons of options for wiring a larger project.One warning: Be careful not to overtighten the mounting screws as you will crack the plastic housing.

These barrier terminal strips are great. Screw/clamp terminals, labeled snap on plastic cover, and jumpers make for easy wiring. Recommended.

Recently i decided to upgrade my shop lighting by running LED tape strips along half of the floor joists. Rather than put a transformer at each floor joist, or somewhere along the run, I mounted two transformers in a low voltage box and used these terminal strips for distributing power to the each of the runs.They installed very quickly in my application, using #6 pan head sheet metal screws. The head was large enough to secure the terminal strip without the use of any washer. The two main reasons I bought these terminal strips as opposed to the ones I found in the local hardware store was the jumper strips and covers. The jumper strips made power distribution a lot less work on my end, and installed quickly - loosen the screws and they just slide in. The covers gave me piece of mind. Nothing should shift in the box, but if it does the power connections are somewhat protected.Easy to install and achieved exactly what I was looking for - very happy with my purchase.
