I bought my Lexus used and it only had one key - the previous owner must have lost the second key. I always felt uneasy about having one key fob so I bought this new key fob as a backup. Be prepared to pay a few hundred dollars for the dealership to program it, which takes all of a minute to do. It was easy to program with my AUTEL scanner. Functions just like the factory one. The casing doesn't have the Lexus logo which I didn't care about. It already had a battery in it.

Works as advertised. What more can I say. Use techstream to add.

Got this key fob for my 2013 Lexus es350. I made sure that the numbers in my broken key fob matched the new one before I bought it. Upon arrival, I took it to the local Lexus dealer where it was programmed without problems. I didn't need to cut the key as I am able to use the old one. The programming, in my opinion, was a little bit expensive ($199.00 plus taxes). Other than that, the new key fob is working great.

Perfect for those who have either lost their extra key or need an extra key for their vehicle. Make sure you know and understand that you will have to have a locksmith program it for you as a dealership won’t program a key they don’t provide. This is strictly the fob and the small key that comes out of. It will have to be cut if you want to use it as well.

Thus product works but took a key mast to get it cut and operating correctly. It’s not something you can purchase and expect it just to work

Information on the website is very easy to follow to make sure you order the correct one for your car. Once received it still has to be programmed (qualified locksmith) but cheaper than going to the car dealer.
