Easy Setup, Works Great, and Works Great with Alexa!
After reading some of the reviews here, I can only assume that the "frustration factor" has more to do with people not understanding WiFi bands between 2.4GHz and 5GHz. These operate on 2.4GHz ONLY, so if your home WiFi network has 2.4/5GHz bands using the same SSID (network name), I recommend you change that... actually, you should regardless, because TONS of devices will default to lower performance band and speeds instead of choosing higher when available.Anyway, WiFi network trivialities aside, assume you have MyWiFiNetwork and MyWiFiNetwork2.4 networks setup. Connect your phone to the MyWiFiNetwork2.4 network and install the app. Plug in the smartswitch to an outlet, and when the lights slowly pulse blue, press and hold either button until it flashes rapidly (about 5 seconds). Once flashing, open the app, click the + icon, and choose Outlet, and choose confirm... it will ask you to confirm the password for MyWiFiNetwork2.4 and about 15-30 seconds later, voila-- good to go! The whole process took me about 2 minutes to figure out with their little instruction guide.Once setup, I renamed the device and outlets how I liked them and then tapped the Alexa icon to begin that connection. I installed the Skill in Alexa, followed the prompts for signin, and that was it... they devices appeared immediately for control. Took me about another 2 minutes in order to read what I was doing along the way.If anything I wish Dilisens made more devices that shared the 2-outlet design. They got it right in terms of style... not as keen on the single-outlet device they have. Anyway, I also like the fact both outlets on the device are spread apart to be able to accommodate larger plugs, and I also like that I can fit one per physical wall outlet and not get blocked too... big pet peeve of mine for other options like the Aeotec Smart Dimmer 6 that I was previously buying. These are a lot easier to setup, and they're a whole lot cheaper too. I'll definitely be buying more. One last comment... I do recommend doing scheduled and grouping in Alexa, Google, or IFTTT instead of the provided app. The app feels very ... basic ... in my opinion.

Works great, attractively priced
Bought these and then reordered. They work great with Alexa or the app. Easy to setup. I like the fact that they show current energy consumption and cummulatoce by day and month and year-to-date.The automation controls are not super user friendly, but if you’ve used IFTT functions, they’re easy to figure out and they are improving with software updates.I have one in my garage hooked up to a heater. I’ve had issues with pipes freezing in the past. With the automation, I have the plug set to turn on automatically if the temperature falls below a set point, so that the heater turns on, and I can see how much it costs me to run the heater. It’s a nice side benefit that you can basically add to your total outlets, by having a single plug create two outlets. And they handle a lot of current. I had a toaster and induction cooktop drawing 2400 watts and the unit worked fine.

1 Dead on Arrival, warranty not honoured.
Update. Was sent out a replacement after posting initial review, which was all I wanted. So long as they aren't DOA, they work very nicely just can be a pain to get it initially setup. Changed rating to reflect the product rather then the experience.I paid for a 2 pack but got only 1 working plug, and won't be sent out a replacement for the bad one even though there's a warranty.Purchased the 2 pack. the first one worked out fine though a bit slow to get the app to set up for whatever reason, and I have used other smart plugs before. The second plug however does not function correctly. turns on, seems like it's trying to pair but wont no matter how many times I try, nor will it connect using the alternative connection method after doing a reset. attempted to contact the seller a few times, first time telling me to do a reset of the device which I had said I already did, then telling me that amazon was the one that fulfilled the order so to contact them for a replacement even though on the page it even states that it is sold by the seller and has a warranty.

Don't last
It was easy to install, loved to be able to see the power consumption by day, month. Scheduling work perfect. Could use it with Alexa. Well, that only worked for a couple of month. Switch went suddenly 'off line'. Got it back on after resetting it but it didn't last more that one day when it was off line again. A bought 2 packs with 4 switches. Added a new switch, but that one only worked for a week. Even the scheduling to turn on in the morning didn't work when it was 'on line'. Now I'm on my 3 switch. Don't have high hopes it will last. Have a TPlink to change to when it fails again.

Work great. No issues.
Positive:Use them to turn off electronics when I am away from home.Saves ElectricityCompatible with AlexaSee your electricity usage live and see your monthly historyNegatives:None that I could findYour TV and Stereo equipment use electricity even when they are turned off. You can plug in your electronics, turn them all off and see how much electricity they still use.It is nice to have two individually controlled outlets in each plug. You can turn on/off each of the two outlets in each plug. using a smart phone app or via voice commands to Alexa. However the electricity monitoring combines the two outlets together. Each outlet in a plug is not monitored separately.I set my TV to turn off at 12 am in case I fall asleep while watching. I set the TV the outlet to come back on a 5am and turn back off a 8 am. The TV still needs to be turned on seperately, because the outlet only supplies the power to the TV, it does not turn the TV on. This saves a lot of energy.
