All about Madam C. J. Walker

I enjoyed this book. As a Hair stylist Cosmetology Teacher of over 30+ yrs.Madame C.J. Walker's life story was very necessary to tell. It gives insight of a determined ,hard working young girl that had, trials hardships and, very hard upbringing.While on her journey as a woman of color, she keep the faith, working towards earning her place of becoming the 1st female millionaire. I'm so humbled and honored to have walked in her footsteps through her journey. Her story helped me to always remember my journey of dedication, love of helping others and strong Faith in God.Thank you,Ms. C.R.S.

Great book. Easy read for my 9 year old

I loved the book from beginning to end. The illustrations were wonderful. What a wonderful person and hard working women. I hope everyone gets to read her life story. She is a good example to all of how much she cared for justice, equal rights, and freedom for all.

Madame Walker didn't waste time feeling sorry for herself, she made her own opportunity inspite of all the odds against her. She didn't stop there she helped others with her success. An amazing woman!

I loved learning about this amazing woman. Grandmother to two African American women, I pray they will be inspired by this truly amazing woman’s life.

Great for elementary school readers. This book is packed with detailed moments that are missed in other books and movies.

Bought this for my daughter who had to do a book report on a real person. According to her she really enjoyed it and she's a 5th grader.

Great to read about a black woman who achieved her dreams and wealth through finding a missing niche in the market.

I had to return this book as it was a children’s book and this wasn’t clear when I ordered it.
