I remember this feeling
Positives; The Hall effect joysticks are amazing and I was wondering the familiar feeling I got from using them with their precision and accuracy when gaming (even turning down dead zones in game to zero for maximum sensitivity) and it was from the PS3 controller that also has Hall effect analogue sticks, I'll never go back to anything less from now on.The triggers and and bumpers on top are great, no problems there apart from finding something compatible with the trigger vibrations. The auto fire and finger paddle macros work flawlessly.Gripes; The start button is ok but the select button is a pain to reach with the analogue stick getting in the way, some people use their index finger to press it instead of the thumb. The D-pad and 4 buttons are very "clicky", not in a cheap sounding way at least, you can't hear them if you wear headphones and you can feel the d-pad click but you can't feel the xyab buttons click and sometimes I wonder if I pressed them as there is not alot of travel of the button. I updated the the firmware with the mobile phone app that reduced the LED brightness for me which is great but wont let me play games unless I plug my phone into the PC, why do I need to plug my phone into the PC when the app already connected to the controller? It's a completely unnecessary step that I haven't done out of principal.Personal issues; I connected via USB and wireless and MY pc has recognized them as 2 controllers, one as a switch controller and one as a xbox controller, this hasn't caused much issue apart from when the light flashed red for switch connectivity during a game session. If I unplug or plug in the controller mid game it wont work any more on most games, so if I run out of charge and plug it in to charge it won't play any more, and on the opposite if I boot up the PC with the controller plugged in and unplug it to play a game it wont work because I unplugged it. I don't know if the 2 personal issues are related. If I restart the PC with the controller unplugged then it will work flawlessly.Worth it for the Hall Effect. Don't plug your phone into the Pc for a mobile app to work with the controller.
