En mi opinión es casi un imprescindible para la Aeropress. Una cafetera que ya de salida te da un montón de opciones con este accesorio te abre un nuevo mundo y juego para preparar tú café de un modo distinto, por ejemplo, me permite las preparaciones invertidas sin jugarme las manos y la mesa. No puedo indicar si es mejor o peor que la competencia ya que no la he probado, pero el original la verdad es que funciona muy bien.

Pricey, but it stops the pre-press drip, which I feel does improve the flavour of our coffee even more. It's well made, too, so I expect that it will last many years. Happy that I bought it.

Great addition to my standard aeropress. Totally no drips, holds well and releases with steady pressure (albeit a tad squirty). Able to maintain a nice extraction all the way.

Hands up, I've been a fan of the AeroPress for the last decade. IMHO its always been one of the best ways to cheaply make great tasting coffee without too much faff! I'm not the biggest fan of the "Pod" machines, they make good (not great) coffee but compared to using ground coffee which tastes better, the price per cup is high. Yeah of course I could always get a big coffee machine, but emphasis on the big (and expensive). So depending on my mood, for the last decade its been my Mokka pot or the AeroPress. So what does the Flow Control Filter Cap being to the party? Well, if you use the AeroPress in the prescribed manner, it stops the coffee dripping through while you wait, and when you do press you can force your coffee though at higher pressure. This makes for a strong coffee, without it being too bitter/acidic. This is where I have to hold my hands up for the second time. The current batch of beans I'm running through are medium roasted, so I still have to see how this addition works with darker roasts, and can it infact produce any crema. So my journey isn't over it's just beginning, but it's a great beginning!

Aggiunta interessante all'aeropress. In pratica non serve più creare il vuoto mettendo lo stantuffo in posizione per evitare che inizi a percolare caffè, lasciandolo tutto ad immersione totale. Volendo è come usare il metodo inverted senza le menate dell'inversione. Lo consiglio al 100% In più è semplice da pulire, mantenendo la filosofia di fondo Aeropress di semplicità d'uso e manutenzione
