No dorsal stabilizing bar ( back side of hand) and straps are bulky. The M L seemed more like a Large and the material folds underneath. Don Joy has such a good reputation in the therapy field so as. Physical Therapist myself I was a little underwhelmed.

I bought this brace to help rest my wrist because of rheumatoid arthritis. I wanted something low profile, easy to put on, and comfortable.Overall, this brace is well made and of great quality.Here's how it met my needs:* It is low profile, but I can't quite button my sleeve around it. I didn't really expect to be able to do this, though.* It is easy to put on, ONLY if I rest my forearm on something. It is difficult to put on standing.* It is comfortable, but not plush or padded.How it could be better (personal opinion, of course):* It could have some padding around the forearm and palm to make it a bit more comfortable and soothing.* The strap between the thumb and forefinger could be thinner. It is a bit wide and it reduces the range of motion for my thumb, but not terribly.Sizing: I bought the M/L. I'm a man with average build and my wrist measures 7.5". It fits well and I would not get a different size.

Not sure if they sent the wrong one or not. Seems like a lefty. Unless the bar should be on top instead of under.

Returning, too small.

Used for hand pain from neuropathy. Seemed to help.
