40 Amp Solar Charge Controller, 12V/24V DC Input MPPT Solar Charge Controller, Solar Panel Regulator for Gel Sealed Flooded and Lithium Battery Negative Ground

This thing works but it maxes out at 520 watts and 40 amps, I didn't realize that before ordering it. I have a few panels connected in parallel and they are well under 40 amps but are more than 520 watts so it's maxed out. Don't plan on running much in parallel with this charger. It's quiet since it doesn't have a fan. The screen is NOT backlit which can make it hard to see and it continually scrolls through all the different modes which makes it annoying to monitor if you're only wanting to see amp or volts, etc. I do like that it tracks the total output from the solar panels which my other charger doesn't do, but it tracks it in amp hours, not watts, which is odd. Since it doesn't have a fan it also gets hotter on the back than my other charger. Overall it feels well built and it works, but it has it's quarks like all lower priced MPPT chargers seem to have.
