When I first saw the box these shelves came in, I was shocked, and even more so, when I felt the weight. Construction is of , lightweight steel tubes (very sharp ends), and plastic end pieces. The shelving covers are made from thin, but strong, plastic sheet, which slips over the steel tubes. The whole thing reminds me of my childhood, building box kites, because when assembled, it's very light. Assembly is a bit fiddly at first, but you soon come to understand where everything goes. Strength wise, it's impressive, but because of the lightweight construction, I'd use common sense when stacking it up with wotnots. I bought 2 of these, and plan to make a 7 shelf unit, and a low freestanding unit. The steel tubes are made of rolled steel sheet, which are dangerously sharp at the ends, so it's advised to use a soft faced hammer, and not try to be macho, and hard like me, and end up cutting yourself. I'm contemplating buying more of these soon.

These shelves are surprisingly sturdy - I wouldn’t put something really heavy on them but they’d do fine for books. The instructions are clear and straightforward, I found them easy to assemble.If you are hoping to rearrange the cubes in to a different configuration, something to bear in mind is that there are two different types of connector piece, side/end ones (“unidirectional connector”) and middle ones (“bidirectional connector”), so it’s not possible to arrange this to be 2 cubes high and 4 cubes wide like I was hoping to do - you’d need 6 “bidirectional connector” for that so you’d need to get the 9 unit version.

Great product. Just as described. Not so easy to assemble if you are not strong. My husband had to do most of it.

Easy to set up, works as advertised, good storage capacity for the money you’re spending. It’s cheap and sturdy and not too heavy.

Only enough in the box to make 7 cubes. The instructions weren't relevant to the 8 cube I bought but didn't get. It looks ok once put together but is overpriced for what it is.

I ordered grey what arrived was blue and white. Totally cheap looking and I wouldn’t trust it to hold much. Planning to dump as not fit for purpose.

Produit conforme à la description, enfin presque car on est obligé de mettre les deux colonnes ensemble, toute seule (séparé )ce n'est pas possible vu le montage mais ce n'est qu'un détail pour ma part...le seul petit bémol et la notice ,honnêtement autant ne pas la mettre!!! j'ai dû regarder pendant plus d'une heure sur Youtube si je trouvais comment la monter car la notice qui est mise avec ne sert strictement à rien ! en plus même pas écrit en français... Même les dessins ne sont pas claires enfin bref une étoile en moins car honnêtement j'ai perdu du temps..Par contre le résultat une fois monté et plutôt pas mal...Attention quand même le meuble a l'air quand même pas très très solide ne vaut mieux pas trop le bouger... Mais honnêtement je le recommande quand même pour les petites pièces..Niveau prix honnêtement ça ne le vaut pas, je trouve que c'est trop cher...
