The magnetic angle guides make it so much easier to get a consistent edge at both 15 and 20 degrees, which is ideal for my different kitchen knives. I sharpen both Western and Japanese blades, and this tool handles them all with no issues.The diamond and ceramic wheels do a fantastic job restoring sharpness without removing too much metal, so my knives should last longer. The rolling action is surprisingly smooth and intuitive—much more comfortable than traditional pull-through sharpeners. Plus, the build quality feels sturdy, and it’s clear a lot of attention went into the details.After just a few passes, my chef’s knife was back to slicing tomatoes paper-thin. Great product idea which is easy & safe to use. Much better on my knives than a traditional whetstone in my hands ;)The magnet is strong & holds the knife securely to the base, but I wish there was smaller size for my smaller knives - that would’ve earned 5 stars.

Having never used a sharpener like this before, I found it to be a unique and effective tool. Here are my thoughts:Build Quality: The materials are of high quality, and I appreciate that parts can be replaced easily by simply unscrewing them, as shown in the product photos.Magnetic Support: The magnets are strong and hold the knife securely. However, for smaller knives, the magnetism at the top feels slightly weaker, causing the knife to shift a bit during use. It’s not a major issue, though.Performance with Different Knives:For larger knives, like chef’s knives, the thicker blade sections can be a bit challenging to sharpen.For both small and large knives, sharpening the tip requires a different technique due to the drastic angle change. I found it easier to handle this part manually.Ceramic Component: The white ceramic section tends to collect metal residue, which is purely aesthetic and doesn’t affect performance.Abrasive Discs: The sharpener has two main parts:The more abrasive section is highly effective for correcting dull edges—it’s noticeable in sound, feel, and results.The ceramic section is softer, ideal for finishing touches. However, I feel a third, medium-grit disc would make the tool even more versatile. It’s worth checking if such an accessory is available separately.Overall, I’ve only done a few tests so far, but I’m very pleased with the results. Just received my sharpener earlier today and my first impression is its definitely pretty sweet. I like how hefty it feels and the rolling action is very smooth. I used it to sharpen an old blade that I used for fishing and it without a doubt saved me from having to purchase another knife. This is going to help save some money in the long run.
