They don't warm up
The first 2 masks worked extremely well so I went ahead and ordered a second box. I've opened several other masks of the 1st box and they don't warm up. It seems like it's hit or miss.

Comfy
These masks are quite warm and relaxing. The lavender smell is very, very faint, not overpowering. They don't get extremely hot, but a nice comfortable warmth. I'd actually prefer them to be a bit warmer, but I think they would if my head were bigger because they feel much warmer when I press the mask to my eyes with my fingers. I can probably figure out how to manipulate the straps (which are very comfortable by the way) in order to get it to be tighter on my head. The heat is lasting for longer than thirty minutes, so that's very nice too!

These work!
Each mask comes individually wrapped. The mild lavender scent smells really good coming out of the packet, but once on my face, I really couldn’t smell the lavender anymore (not a pro or a con, just an observation.) The eye pads feel like compact tea bags. I think they become heat activated when you unfold it at the middle. There is a layer of highly stretchy paper-like fabric that has perforated lines to tear and open and out to create loops to go around your ears. (see images) The loops hold really well around your ears, and the stretchy fabric is very comfortable. I had a sleep mask ready to put over this just in case it needed to be held in place better - but it wasn’t needed. In fact, an extra mask over this mask would likely have made this mask too hot on my eyes. The heat lasted about 40-45 minutes. It gets pretty hot. Not burning-your-skin hot, but at times it was uncomfortably hot over my eyes. I slipped a finger under the mask to let out some heat on a couple of occasions during the 45 minutes I wore it, and that was sufficient. My eyelids were moist after using the mask – they claim to “steam,” but I think it was due to perspiration, since there is no moisture in the mask itself. Overall, I found this to be really soothing and comfortable, with the exception of getting a little hotter than I like - which was easily managed by letting the heat out with my finger as needed. I can’t say if it really has an effect on dark circles, but it sure felt good on my tired eyes.

So comfortable!
These lavender ice masks come in a set of 12! They’re all individually wrapped and ready to go. I love using them after a long day on the computer. The masks heats up when opened and comfortably reduces my eye strain and feels so relaxing. The lavender scent is very light, which I like so it’s not too overpowering. I highly recommend!

I use one every night
I love these disposable heated eye masks. I have been using masks like these for quite a while now, when they only had the Japanese brand. I fell in love with those but it is a bit pricier since they are a bigger name brand. I compared these with the Japanese brand and I would say these work just as well. The only difference is the scent, and while these are 'lavender', I really don't smell anything. The Japanese ones are more superior with the scent but heat wise I think these do as good of a job. It stays warm for quite a while, perhaps even longer than the Japanese ones. I usually put one on before bed and I'm already asleep by the time the mask stops heating up. These are great if you spend the whole day looking at the computer/phone screen, and definitely relaxes your eyes. They are like hand warmers but for your eyes. If you've never tried something like this I highly recommend giving it a chance. If you have medical eye issues you might want to consult a doctor to see if you're allowed to have something like this on your eyes. I used to buy the Japanese ones in bulk because I would use one every night. These are slightly more budget friendly so now I've switched over to these. If you want some aromatherapy along with the heat I would suggest giving the Japanese brand (KAO) a try but if you don't care for scented eye masks then these will do as good of a job.

Not Effective
These didn't do anything for me. They do get hot (but by no means to hot) and smell of lavender but that's about it. It didn't help my head feel better or my eyes/skin look better. There are better products for these things.
