I got this in an XL because I saw it was internationally sized. I wear a medium (8-10). It didn't fit. I let my cousin try in on, she's a size two. It fit her. Also, if you think that the outfit is going to flare at the legs as pictured, you're wrong. I'm not sure what outfit the model is wearing, but it is not the one that I was sent.
