It was extremely easy to install
This a great product. I am a klutz so I had my wife install it. Nevertheless the instructions are extremely clear and easy to follow. I highly recommend this company.

Wobbly but easy to install and looks nice
The media could not be loaded. Wobbly but easy to install and looks nice. I had to wrap the metal frame to ensure that the shelf didn't wobble (see video). I used tissue paper to do this. It was a bit tricky but it worked. The shelf still wobbles a little from the flexure of the frame, but not as much as before.

Love these shelves
I had a small space beside my medicine cabinet and the wall that I wanted to put a few things to keep them off the sink. These little shelves did just that and the "floating" part means there were no brackets underneath to waste space or look unsightly. Would buy again if I needed more!

Were my shelves defective?
I've only installed one shelf so far. The bracket had the arrow pointing up per the instructions and the holes to screw the shelf to it were on the top of the posts. The instructions show the screws being installed from the underside of the shelf. Yeah, that won't work so I have the screws on the topside of the shelf. It isn't a big deal but some might find this to be an issue depending on shelf location. Mine is where you won't see them. I am not using the silly little stickers because they will get rubbed off over time.

It's Tough to Defy Gravity
It's called a "floating" shelf because it looks like it defies gravity, sticking straight out of the wall with nothing to support it. Look up "cantilever" on Wikipedia and you'll see why that's a difficult engineering challenge. The mounting bracket must be totally rock-solid on the wall for this shelf to have any chance. For a 48" shelf you might be able to use studs, but then the shelf placement is not your choice. I had to use drywall mounts. The ones provided looked unconvincing to me, and huge, besides. They would create multiple holes in my wall bigger than the diameter of a pen. I bought a box of 3/8" drywall mounts and screws and attached the bracket with six of them. Yes, six. Two on the sides of each cantilever (top row of holes, the bottom is irrelevant) and one on each end to force the bracket flat. If the support rods are not completely rigid, the shelf will eventually pull away from the wall. Even then...On the plus side, the mounting bracket is flexible, because most walls are not perfectly flat and a stiff bracket would not work. Also, the mounting holes are wide ovals so you can slide the bracket slightly side to side for alignment before you tighten it down. That was especially useful in my case because I mounted the shelf up against a corner. The shelf is made of a hard plastic laminate over thin board, and is hollow, a good choice considering the weight problem. It supports all my Wi-Fi hubs and plugs but I wouldn't put more than 10 lbs on this shelf. Certainly not a row of textbooks. It took longer than expected to get the shelf mounted properly because measuring and leveling the six drywall mounts was a chore, but it looks good and works fine. However, I recommend that you forget about trying to fool mother nature with a "floating" shelf and get one that has a vertical component such as triangle brackets on the ends, or a shelf shaped like a flat-bottom U.

Pretty to look at but wobbly
They are cute if you just look at them but I would not trust them with anything heavy or fragile that mattered to me- with the way they attach to the wall with stakes, the shelves are wobbly even though you know they aren’t actually going to fall off the wall. Have them in my bathroom as decor with a small plant and a couple extra wash cloths on them and these shelves are great for that!

AWESOME
These hung in less than 5 minutes for 4. They are a little loose where the bracket stem enters the shelf hole. When you put something on shelf you don’t even realize it. If give them a 5 star even though the holes. We wanted these to try and I’ll order more as we need them.

Looks great
Great for pictures and light weight items. One of the two screws fastening the shelf onto the brackets is a little wobbly, but secure. Thats why I gave it 4 stars for sturdiness. It is working well.

Fine for light items
They look nice but a little wobbly even though I followed installation instructions. Screws holes are covered by little plactic patches that dont look very nice. Its fine for the price if you just want a little decorative nook.

Great shelf at a great price.
We don’t have room for a night table in our guest bedroom so this shelf was a perfect solution. Easy to install and sturdy. I bought a stud finder, as recommended in the instructions, and installed right into the studs. Very happy with the result.

Go to IKEA instead!!!!
There were brown spots all across both the shelves I received. Despite trying my hardest to get rid of these spots, they still remain. This was double the price of getting 2 shelves of the same size from IKEA. You must be wondering why I didn’t go to IKEA? Well, that is because they were sold out and I had to resort to this utter garbage instead. The shelves didn’t even screw straightly, they are currently sitting lopsided on my wall. Do not waste your money like I did!!
