The Snom D3 series are nicely styled, high quality and Robust IP Telephones and will last for years in a busy office environment. I was working on a massive "Genesys" contact centre project where we used Snom phones, currently I am working on a rail infrastructure project and again Snom is the choice.I bought this phone for my Home-Office "Asterisk" phone system and again it performed perfectly. If you have a home or small business you can connect these phones directly to a VOIP provider and dave £££ on calls, particularly if you make a lot of international calls.One thing not to miss, there is a Wi-Fi dongle option for these phones, a great idea if you want to put a phone somewhere away from the wired network, though you'll still need power!

In firmware its impossible to select between USB and RJ11 headset. Also they have removed option to adjust volume via advanced settings. If you use http string to adjust volume it does not affect RJ11 heasdset at all. So you have to buy USB headset to use this phone, RJ11 is useless.
