Dear, this is an embarrassing question. Well... the strap can be cut short, but the edges you cut yourself are not as round as our machine cut and polished. You can go to your local watch store to ask if they can cut it for you, I believe the estimated cost will be more expensive. In fact, without cutting, there are two loops on the strap that can be pulled apart, one on the end of the strap and one in the middle of the strap.
