I love seafood and Asian snacks! I always find it interesting and enjoyable to take a bite out of different cultures.. but this.. this… this was just so horrific. I blame me for ignoring the red flags.. 1. The reviews I read before ordering. 2. The smell when I opened the bag. I mean the coating was so misleading.. The coating was sweet and actually good, but the bite and subsequent chewing of the crab was the fishiest mouthful I’ve ever experienced in my life. You know the bucket of close to rotting fish fishermen use for bait? How you think that smells and taste is exactly how this taste. Then the texture of crunchy crab shell get stuck between your teeth but somehow turn to powder as you chew.. the fishy smell and taste also sticks around.. I forced my boyfriend to try it with me because I’m a great girlfriend and he’s now forbid me to order anything ever to try again.. and that makes me sad.. with that being said, the reviews you’re reading isn’t over exaggerating, and they’re the only things online you should actually believe..

This product smells like the penguin house at the zoo. It smells super fishy, but dirty fishy with a hint of urine. It tastes almost the same as the way it smells but with a sweetness that masks the taste some. To be very clear, there is no taste of crab meat. The texture of the shell is like eggshells and sunflower seed shells mixed. I'm disposing of this product because it's not to my liking or even bearable. You win some you lose some. I tried it because of a person I follow on IG who seems to really love these. She can have my pack because I don't want it. Absolutely positively and negatively NO!! 04/20/2025

It says it has a taste like honey and sweet but it absolutely DO NOT. It has a very fishy taste like they’re old just like another person said in their comment. That was my first and only thought. I wanted to try it with hot sauce but I can’t see me eating another one. They smell and taste the way fish food smells. It’s really gross. Just got my order yesterday 2/21/25 and tried it today 2/22. I don’t like it. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

First couple of bites were good, then the fish smell set in and the fish taste to follow. Would not buy again but had to try once

I never want to yuck someone else’s yum you know. You are eating a whole crab, shell and all so the texture is as expected, once it’s chewed into really small pieces it’s like eating egg shells or chewing sand. The smell is also as expected, yes, fish food is what it smells like because most fish food is ground crab and/ or shrimp but in reality that’s what crab smells like if it didn’t come to you drown in butter and Cajun seasoning. The seasoning was sweet but not spicy, you’re meant to taste the crab not just the seasoning. This isn’t for everyone but the quality was good, packaging was reasonable and responsible. I cannot eat them again but that’s my personal preference and nothing negative about the product itself.

Don’t buy! Taste and smell horrible. I was hoping everyone was wrong and they would be an okay snack. My cats wouldn’t have anything to do with them either. The flies enjoyed them though. Maybe another brand would be better but after trying these I’ll stick to fresh crab.

I'm sure those who bought this product were persuaded buy famous internet videos just like myself. Seeing people try them in the videos, they make the product look like it would taste super delicious, and as someone who LOVES seafood, I was really excited to try them. Well, I was extremely disappointed. I ate maybe 5 crabs before I threw the package out because of how disgusting they tasted. Some reviews have said that it tastes to much like an "ocean" rather than crab, and they were absolutely right. If you are someone who owns fish and are aware of the smell of "fish flakes", that's exactly how it tastes. And the sticky coating the crabs have on the outside is sweet like candy and not savory as expected. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID. IM NOT JOKING, YOU WILL NOT LIKE THIS PRODUCT! I was ignorant and ignored the reviews because I am someone who usually has an acquired taste to exotic things and I enjoy trying new foods, but this was absolutely disgusting and a huge waste of money! Unless you're someone who enjoys eating fish food, (for some odd reason, what wrong with you?) don't buy this product.

I absolutely love Dried shrimp and Absolutely love anything like this. Even had dried fish. This is entirely something different. U will not even be able to guess what these taste like and I promise on God and everything that this is not good. Initial bite it is very crunchy Whitch is nice. And sweet Whitch is a coating they put on the shells. But what about the inside? That's what matters right? Well once u get through the crunch and the sweetness u are hit with the fishiest taste u will ever taste. I'm not overreacting, I eaten strait dried out baby fish and these still taste almost triple as fishy. Not even any bit of crab flavor. Just ocean. These are the most disgusting Crab snack I have ever tried. Do not buy these. I threw them in the trash.
