Im new to using charcoal. I tried it out on paper on an old Ghost Rider drawing I had done years ago for practice. The charcoal worked well. its definitely more dense and durable compared to ordinary charcoal I’ve used on art bundle packs where they’re more darker in color but brittle in use.So far it’s fun and I enjoy it. I used an industrial cotton swab for blending. It is messy on the hands. But not bad at all compared to regular charcoal pieces.

This isn't black at all. It's light gray at best. Very disappointed and will not purchase from this seller again. Not worth the money and the quality lacks. Pieces arrived broken and the color didn't perform the way it was advertised regardless of how thick we chalked on the driveway.

Love having black chalk to outline specific artwork. Works great. Looks a little more charcoal color than true black but still nice.

We got this bright colored chalk for my husband to use to mark trees when cutting logs into firewood. He finds this color to be one of the easiest to see on the bark, and it helps him get the lengths just the right size for our wood stove. The sticks are nice and fat, and the chalk draws well on the bark. Perfect for our needs.

I purchased a package of the red chalk. On concrete the color looks dark pink instead of red.

1 day late and 1 broken stick otherwise it was fine.
