Bluetooth 5.2 Receiver for Home Stereo AUX Adapter for HiFi Music Streaming, Wired Speakers, with AUX 3.5mm/RCA, Long Range,Low Latency and HD Audio

I bought this Blackhorse adapter to connect my iPad to my hardwired home speakers because I was tired of dealing with cables. It solved the problem immediately. Pros: Simple Setup: As soon as I plugged it into power, it went into pairing mode. My iPad found it and connected instantly. Performance: The sound quality is very good—no static or dropouts. Value: It does exactly what it is supposed to do for a good price. Cons: Build Quality: My only complaint is that the unit feels very cheap and light, almost like there is nothing inside the case. It works fine, but it doesn't have a "premium" feel. Verdict: Despite the lightweight plastic feel, it works perfectly and sounds great. It is definitely a good buy for the price if you want to make older speakers wireless.

This receiver, like others of its type that I tested, has a relatively low output of order 0.8 Vrms or roughly -18 dBm into a pre-amp or amplifier with standard 47k-ohm input impedance. I bought it to connect by blue tooth to a newer flat screen TV to drive a stereo amplifier. Some newer TVs idiotically don't have RCA, 3.5mm jack, or digital FO sound output. I bought a a 20-dB pre-amp to follow it to boost it up to closer to 0 dBm to drive the stereo amplifier. I chose this particular blue tooth receiver because of its "less annoying" blue tooth connection announcement. Another drawback is that after turning it off, it will come back on with its volume level at 100%. These devices should come with the ability to turn off their connect and disconnect announcements and they should remember their last volume setting. I gave it 5 stars anyway for function, utility, ease of setup, and ease of pairing.

Product works as expected, no problems or glitches. Sounds great and performs smoothly. One great advantage of this Bluetooth adapter is that it comes with a usb-c power adapter, not just a power cable. That’s especially convenient and adds value. Great product.

Works great. One caveat, powers down too quickly requiring pushing button to restart.

This review is for the Bluetooth 5.2 Receiver for Home Stereo AUX Adapter for HiFi Music Streaming, Wired Speakers. I used this to be able to connect my phone to an older Yamaha receiver and I am tickled! This thing connects IMMEDIATELY when I turn it on and it sounds great. Awesome that it came with the required cables to do exactly what I wanted to do so all I had to do was unbox it, plug it in (I used the switched outlet on the receiver so it shuts off with the receiver), do a quick and easy BT pairing with my phone, and voila... seamless streaming every time I turn on the receiver! The Range... I can easily go WAY FURTHER than with any of my other BT devices. I am actually shocked at how far I can go and not lose connection. I can walk from the back of my shop (where this is located) all the way to the front inside of the offices (over 150 ft and through multiple wood/drywall walls, doors, cabinets, etc) and never stop playing clear tunes!

I got this receiver because I bought a new TV. To my dismay, modern TV's no longer have old style RCA type outputs. I have an older receiver which requires RCA inputs. I love the sound with my big speakers it supports. New TVs support Bluetooth and this device provides a great connection via RCA outputs for plugging in to older equipment like mine. I am very happy with this device. I performs very well as advertised.

UPDATE: Well, this is not going to work for my application. I have found that once your Bluetooth source disconnects, this powers off. You cannot just connect to it again. You need to unplug it and then plug back in to put in pairing mode and then you can connect again. Not at all suitable for a hard to reach installation. This little gem was just what I needed. Have an old M&S intercom system that plays AM and FM. Fortunately, it has both AUX and Tape inputs inside the compartment (you have to remove it from wall). I plugged this into the AUX port, powered it up and worked perfectly. Range is quite impressive, 50 feet or so, but I have not sealed it in the compartment yet. Now I need to get a passive stereo to mono adapter, which is on order. I will also be wiring into the internal intercom circuit a 24VAC to 5VDC adapter to power it. The intercom has a built in 110VAC to 24VAC transformer. All will be concealed in the wall. Brought new life to this 30 yr old system. Once I have everthing in place, will post additional instructions on how to integrate everything. Only drawback is that if you are just far enough away, it will broadcast loudly "Connected", then "Disconnected" over and ov
