Good stuff
This is my second diode laser (my first was a 4.5 watt Atomstack A5), and these continue to surprise me with their performance. To be completely honest, I've been using this laser instead of my CO2 30 watt Beamo (that I just had to replace the laser tube in, by the way). It's generally faster, easier to use, and is able to cut through much larger and thicker material than the Beamo - and is also considerably cheaper. * The S10 Pro goes through 3/4" plywood without much trouble at all, and it seems to cut cleaner on wood than my CO2 laser, but that may just be settings. * The working area is pretty large. It's essentially a 16" x 15.5" / 410mm x 400mm space, and there's a kit available from Atomstack that allows you to expand that even further. * The height adjustment is way better. There's a simple handle to loosen and tighten a single screw, so no more need to have an allen wrench around just to adjust the height. * The hardware power button, reset button, and emergency stop button - literally a big red "smack me" kind of button - are great adds. The buttons themselves are high quality, as well. * The top speed is 6000 mm/minute - very fast, and it retains its accuracy at higher speeds. The diode unit assembly is solid and doesn't wiggle at all, and I haven't run into any wavy lines, even while engraving at higher speeds. Less than good stuff: * The instructions on the S10 weren't as clear or concise as the A5, for some reason. It's nearly the identical assembly process, but the manual isn't written nearly as well. * The LCD display is only really useful when running jobs from SD cards. If you have a system connected via USB, the display simply has a "Carve" button. I would have liked to have the same options you have when cutting via SD, such as moving, changing power, etc., but it's a small geek complaint. The S10 Pro is a pretty massive upgrade from the A5,the features and power are exponentially better. I hope this was helpful - if you're thinking about a laser in this price range, I'd highly recommend the S10 Pro.

Honeycomb bed was slightly damaged from one side. Useful for cutting wood/acrylic.

Really amazing laser engraver, worth the money
Seller was very supportive, and answered queries immediately Device is well built, like the reviews on Youtube, I also had a wheel that had a bit of a bump, All you need to do is disconnect the motors from the circuitry then run the slider back to front multiple times. This issue was resolved completely. I hope that helps someone else. Obviously reconnect the wires to the motors once done. The very tiny bump initially created very wavy engraves, but after the fix everything is amazing. I also recommend not to go above 1200 mm speed when using line, esp when the design is complex, please adjust power accordingly on light burn. In fill mode you can go as per recommendations for the materials take care and enjoy your engraver P.S. this was my first engraver So I don't have a comparison to give, but it does what it says it can do

Good engraving bad cutting
It engrave very good on wood and acrylic, but cutting you need to do it more than once and this will make a burn effect on edges. Also transparent acrylic not working at all. After a couple of years main part was damaged amd the seller haven't spare parts.

I would most definitely not recommend buying from this company, their only contact information is an email and they direct you back to amazon. Although the laser is good their air pump is total garbage candy coated in a shiny box just like people. Considering I have to dismantle it and shove it back in its box, with a bill for wasting my time and for the money I have lost on down time.

This was so easy to assemble. You can use the Lightburn software, it will recognize this ATOMSTACK S20 PRO so nothing there to get frustrated about. More diodes mean a little more noise. Before use, inspect the lens protective is screwed on good, and give a up close look at all fittings to be secure. It seamlessly cuts through many materials from stainless steel, acrylic, wood with one pass. If you are afraid at first, do your research on YouTube for visuals of this machine.
