1. Great control of light: Unplugging and replunging to outlet returns light to exact previous plugged condition. I have a smart outlet (Google/Alexa control) controlling this light fixture lighting my dart board. When power outlet turns back on you do not have to turn on light fixture and readjust the light level :-) Note: some of the smart outlets having Alexa/Google and phone app come with a battery powered light switch that looks just like a nice house wall light switch - It takes a little looking on Amazon but I did buy that on Amazon in the last year (get the one that also has Alexa/Google and phone app). 2. Great control of light intensity: Great max light intensity and great control to many levels leading to almost no light. This is important because on a dart board, painting, or reading source you want you light to probably be just a little higher than surrounding light or at a pleasant level if no other light source is on. 3. Great CRI color rendering index: Be careful of other manufacturers providing light sources with a non-stated CRI or lamp able to change colors at the cost of CRI! This lamp reproduces non-flicker and fun colors to look at. I returned a couple of other light fixtures prior to this one because of this. 4. Personal color temperature (Kelvin) is great! 3000K color temperature is more towards incandescent/halogen, so if you miss the hospital/industrial white fluorescent light, this is not your light fixture. I like the lower Kelvin 3000K light sources, especially on art. Anything higher like daylight color temperature feels more abrasive and loss of colors. In the past I have seen some neighborhood houses replace some light bulbs with the high Kelvin light bulbs that next to others homes light sources look almost a small blue tint. That only lasts for several months to a year before that person changes those bulbs - especially if that light bulb intensity is analogous a blaring music speaker. Remember your light quality can be fun like listening to an expensive sound system instead of some cheap sound source some kid turns sky high with the speakers sounding like they are ripping apart and base is kind of vibrating. 5. The size and no bleeding of light from source edges is great. This is especially great for using with art or a dart board. Note: on a dart board a single light source does leave shadows for darts in board. This is not that big of a deal with three to six darts (personal opinion and you might feel different). 6. The remote control feels a bit hobbyist and can be improved to match light fixture color and better feal. For example the Fire Stick is a great look, feel, and button placements - this light fixture remote is not that :-( Earlier in my career I used to do a little commercial light design from hospitals to museums so I might be much more critical than the average person. On the other hand I do feel this is a higher quality light fixture especially if you are going to use this on lighting art.

Unfortunately, I ignored previous reviews. I purchased this item. I installed it and loved the effect. It does look nice and is very unobtrusive. Soon after my first purchase there was a sale and I decided to buy two more while the price was reduced. The first light worked for several months (with an average "on" time of perhaps 10 hours per week. Then it went dark. I tried to use it without the remote link and it worked for a little while longer, Then it went dark again and there was no way to get it started. I replaced it with one of the other ones that I had already bought. Same thing! Same pattern. burned out with even less weekly usage. I went to the third one. That one lasted no more than a couple of weeks. Total "on" time for the third unit was probably no more than 20 hours over all. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!! TERRIBLE QUALITY. YOU WILL BE THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY.

I recently purchased the URTOM remote control LED picture frame light to enhance the display of a recently commissioned painting of mine. The URTOM light includes a detachable 120 VAC to 12 VDC wall adapter. The wall adapter connects via a barrel plug, which, while I've not yet tried it, would allow you to use a 12 VDC power supply if you don't have a wall plug nearby (such as a small automotive jump starter). In conclusion, the URTOM Control LED picture frame light has exceeded my expectations in terms of design, functionality, and performance. If you're looking for a high-quality and versatile picture frame light, I highly recommend giving this product a try.

Well built design and the programmable timer is amazing. Why don't they advertise that?!

Purchased this in March, now less than 2 months later, it doesn’t turn on. Sadly- it’s been connected to a very expensive painting. So disappointing.
